    General Comment:The song says FUCK OFF. You can only "love" from a distance. Sex is for you...sex and nothing but sex. You just had to follow in the footsteps laid out for you; that's how free you are. Again, I'll wave up to you in another 10 or so years. I hope the music (and running between characters created) floats your old boat. Again, the song says FUCK OFF. I've become you in the happiness department. And I'm sick of it and of your excuses; promises broken; and lies.

    General Comment:To me the song is about a guy who loves a psycho. Every time he tries to commit, she pushes him away; but once they break up, she decides she loves him after all. But after they get back together, she grows cold and pushes him away again. He loves her deeply, but he can only have her when they're not together. So it's driving him mad, which is why the music sounds so crazy.

    General Comment:With deVotchKa, more is said with the instruments than the words.

    The protagonist in this song questions the validity of her lover's song because she only expresses her sentiments at times when it is most appropriate. However, she is too care-free and recluse with his heart as he demands more from her yet she continually is loose with his love. She may in fact love her.

    Bottom Line: He needs to dump the bitch because she ain't giving him what he needs.
