  General Comment:story of my life, basically.
  I've been crazy about this guy since I met him over a year ago, and I just recently told him how I feel. Apparently he feels the same way, but he doesn't want a relationship right now, so I feel like he's just keeping me "hanging on" because I don't know if we're even gonna get somewhere.
  I kind of want to move on so I don't feel like I'm wasting my time, but at the same time, i don't want to risk losing any chance I might have with him..

  General Comment:I think this song is pretty to the point, here's my take (much of it has already been said..)
  It's about a girl, who is struggling to take the risk for a guy.
  She's clearly crazy about him, but even the little things make her so crazy, and she's scared that he has so much control over her, emotionally. Right now, she has a chance to have him, but she needs him to meet her in the middle.
  
  One of my friends told me he thinks of me whenever he hears Colbie Caillat. Another told me that this song specifically reminded him of me. It's a nice song :)

  General Comment:I think this song is about a guy that is leaving this girl hanging by a thread, and he really shouldn't because she absolutely adores him. Maybe he doesn't realise just how much he affects her, ("the little things you do to me are taking me over"). You could probably say he's being quite ignorant in some ways ("get your attention, before you pass me by") and it seems like he has power over her in some ways maybe, but she's head over heels and would love it to work, telling him to "back up" and "take another chance".

  General Comment:i love it all! it's just so descriptive there's so much in the song. to me, it's about a girl who obviously likes someone, she just can't help it. she doesn't want to lose him but it's like he's keeping her at arm's length and she doesn't want to be there. she doesn't want to wonder if she's better off without him, she knows she wouldn't be. and she wishes he wouldn't keep her hanging on, just accept she likes him. and not to mess it up, he needs to get his act together and realise.

  General Comment:This song in my opinion would be her seeing someone that she likes and hes not noticing her...and in the song shes talking to herself not to mess up and make herself look like an idiot so he will see her and like her too and those little things are making her more scared to where she doesn't want to mess up. That my opinion you all have good opinions on it too...

  General Comment:i think she feels like the guy she likes is holding her back, but at the same time she doesn't want to be without him. he's leading her on, "don't just leave me hanging on". she's so wrapped up in him, she is stuck on whether to move on or stay with him, not sure if the relationship is going anywhere. like when she sings, "don't you say that i'd be better off, better off, sleeping by myself and wondering if i'm better off, better off without you boy"
  i think that line is her talking to herself trying to tell herself to stop saying that she won't be better off without him..
  this song reminds me of my relationship sooo much, finally i've figured out what is going on and i've realized that i'm not better off without him
