the song has a very powerful message. the guy loves the girl but the girl is in love with another guy. he try to tell himself not to love the girl but he can't help himself. i love the way jesse wrote this song. he showed me how powerful love can be.
my heart melts when he looks into the camera and starts singing, i swear
this song won me over completely cause before him i was sorta dating our common friend.
We all know this song is about loving someone whose taken or something comes up. in a way i will always love this song cause it opened me up to love, just the wrong guy gave me the right key..

it's about a guy who has feelings for a girl, but the girl has a boyfriend. he has tried to get over her, but knows it's not possible, and "this feeling's taking control" of him. he doesn't know what will happen when he tells her, but he just wants to let her know how he feels about her.
the reason i interpreted the song like this is because i am going through the same situation now... hopefully i'll be able to tell the girl how i feel, and (if i'm lucky) it'll end up like the end of the music video, where the girl and guy get together :D
