These demo lyrics seem very intriguing. Seems like the beginning of the song he's settling into his night with some alcohol. She explodes with stars when he sees a girl at the bar he was once close to. She's ignoring him. When he can't get her attention he tries to explode the pieces of memory that are reminding him that she's still around and that they ever knew each other. The final version added the sex reference...a memory of her crying while he was inside her...probably not a good memory to him. The final version seems to allude to him wanting to "be" the girl in order to figure her out.
