    My Interpretation:This song is about lost innocence and a brother's love for his sister. The narrator reminisces about growing-up with his sister in the South, and laments that the world is no longer as simple as it was when they were children. Although times have changed for him and his sister, they take comfort in the fact that they still have each other and their memories.
