fire! fire! fire!

orange yellow and black flesh trees bloom fire fire fire
i'm gonna set this motel 6 on fire fire fire
those young fists clenched devour
make a million millionaires
set fire to the ships on fire!
set fire to the hips on fire!

the salacious throne of light bulb wire wire wire
i'm kicking snowmen like it's going out of style style style
those cold hooked cemetery claws
raking out the infants' jaws
set fire to the homes on fire!
set fire to the dress on fire!
set fire to the stage on fire!
set fire to the skulls on fire!

now i'm tied to a seagull's back yeah fire fire fire
and all those black-haired bayonets trying to lure me down with the sounds of their choir choir choir
well i'd rather shoot up a syringe filled with fire fire fire
and get them back with songs so vacant loud and tired tired tired

what's the sound of a hijacked train
what's the sound of why can't we be friends
spirits cover him in empty tanks
for all we hear of them they have no face

set fire to the drums on fire!
set fire to the lives on fire!
set fire to the house on fire!
set fire to the face on fire!

Song Meaning:I'm pretty sure it's about Satan and a wedding in Hell,
or at least used as a metaphor for something else.
The beginning describes what is considered to be "suicide trees" in which those who commit suicide and go to hell become withered trees forever.
I'm pretty sure it's about all of that.
Satan has a burning face, everything in hell would be "burning"
he may be saying set it on fire with spectral fire. (which I believe I have heard in live version.)
either way I could be wrong, but it's not sociopolitical, and lots of prophets and such did hard drugs back in the days of the bible (which they do mention in the song). I don't really think it's about fashion or music there are no metaphors that would be used for any of those things.

General Comment:The Blood Brothers > Drop Dead, Gorgeous and Alesana.
    By far.

The Blood Brothers are amazing- that's all that needs to be said.

General Comment:yeah its definitely about how easy it is for fakeass people to make millions off of music

"Oh, those young fists clenched in the air make a million millionaires."

"well i'd rather shoot up a syringe filled with fire fire fire
and get them back with songs so vacant loud and tired tired tired"

ohh and by the way dumbasses the blood brothers are emo, for as much as i hate emo bands, they are, you dont know how hard it is for me to say this about the blood brothers

General Comment:I'm going to be a rebel and NOT agree with zammereckscore because their explanation of the song is far to repetitive for me, and that "And all those black-haired bandits try to lure me down with their songs and choir, choir, choir" being about emo kids? Nah

I think mostly this song was about nothing.
Nothing and maybe that young kids are starting bands every day and becoming millionairs riding a trend that is seemingly lasting forever now. Singing about things that have been vastly over said
"now i'm tied to a seagull's back yeah fire fire fire
and all those black-haired bayonets trying to lure me down with the sounds of their choir choir choir
well i'd rather shoot up a syringe filled with fire fire fire
and get them back with songs so vacant loud and tired tired tired"

With emphasis on that last part. I think they're talking from the perspective of the trend bands.

General Comment:Well, I can say for myself that I'm tired of the "emo-tag", to me it's really a label; not something constructive, but a limit. But that aside, I've heard the Blood Brothers called Art Punk, or Experimental, and as being part of the No Wave movement. This particular movement in music had many a focus, but one of them was criticism of the "tired" mainstream. Hence, the "experimental", it's breaking-away. Avant Guard!
