    My Interpretation:"Till I screamed 'STOP. You must be aware I'm not alone, I've got a tigress back at home, and besides, you wouldn't know what to do with me.' "

    To me, sounds like, he had opportunities to cheat, but he didn't. Why would he? His wife is a goddess, and I imagine it takes a bit to fulfill Kevin's needs...cause, I mean, he has some serious soul power.

    General Comment:i will forever love kevin barnes for writing heimdelllsswhatever like a promethean curse. Come on chemicals!! Biggest insight i have ever received about my own depression! My brother was comparing them to elliott smith the other day upon hearing them for the first time. Must be why Jon Brion is such a fan!

    General Comment:When i heard the line "you're just some faggy girl and i need a lover with soul power" it made me think he was dissing lesbians. I mean just because a girl likes another girl doesnt mean she ain't got no soul power. But what do i know, i'm a guy... lol. However, when i really thought about it, i reaized that he might be singing about a girl he once dated, and when he saw her kissing another girl, he must hve been jealous or confused. Then he explains in these lyrics that she tried to get back with him:

    General Comment:I hear "kissing girls for the shocks" in the first line like kellykel32.

    Also hear "She" instead of "you" in the second line. As in someone tells Kevin that "She" (Eva) must be an artist because she kisses girls to be shocking. That makes, "I was judging her friend as the DJ played a dead jam," hilarious. He's obviously not impressed and feels sorry for anyone who would.

    Reminds me of why I hate "I Kissed a Girl" (Katy Perry's) so much. It's a sad attempt at being scandalous.
