The title is very confusing for me..... The music does not me think of somebody swallowing a donkey's eye. Actually, nothing makes me think of somebody swallowing a donkey's eye......

13 minutes of annoying noise. A great way to end a record.

Annoying? I really like the song.

The name still confuses me too.

This is really eerie after April 8th, and I think its a really great way to end the record.
I'm also not sure about the song title, interesting though.

Easily their best song. By FAR! Perfection. One of my favourite songs ever, actually.

I wish they could have included it with the other album.

I also hear the "I love you" from the melody. Sick song. Sick is good.

i think this song really kills the album. this would be bad, even for a noise/experimental band who made this kind of droning noise all the time. so on a band full of energy and spice like NMH, this excruciating shite is just maddening. i only listened to it all the way, because i thought there might have been a VERY good ghost track at the end

anyway. that's just my view

When I listen to this I hear "I'm ready" more than "I love you", but I can hear both somewhat.

I suppose the title is relating to the previous song "A Baby for Pree", which is about a woman giving birth to multiple children. Apparently a "Donkey's Eye" is actually an edible seed from a 'mucuna pruriens' plant, according to thefreedictionary.com.

Look it up on Wikipedia. Hell, there's quite a lot to say about it:
