yuck , mcr are recycling melodies , i've heard this tune before.
MCR has lost it , this is another "Ghost Of You" , yuck.

well AbsolutionAgent_gMs that is your own opinion, but most bands recycle melodies too, so please do not single MCR out, and MCR has not lost it, in fact they are as good as before, and furthermore "Ghost of you" in my opinion was a very good song with a very deep meaning in it.

Hear hear poeticjustice1, MCR have, as usual, created another amazing song. Also true is the fact that a lot of bands recycle melodies and i totally agree that Ghost of You was a really good song.
Shealerevenge i didnt really get that either all i can think of is that it may mean that he thinks its an awful thing to think of himself and speak of himself dying, but i've heard mcr sing this song live and it's definitely 'but i'm awful just to think' . If you want to hear the song then go to youtube.com and search hammersmith palais and cancer(or it might be my chemical romance) or you can download it on limewire...but it's kind of fuzzy.
It's a really pretty song by the way to anyone who hasn't heard it yet

I love this song but it always manages to make me cry. It's really emotional and I'm glad they have done a song like this, different sort of from the rest. Amazing!
And I don't think anybody could say they have have heard the tune before, I think it's original and not re-used. But that's my opinion.

I agree, A lot of bands do recycle melodies. I kinda like it, it makes it easier to tell who's who or when one band is copying another. This song is so sad, I can't wait for the new album!

You can also download this theimmortalityproject.com. It's a live version and it's a zip file, but it's so worth it.

Oh yeah.What this song means to me eh?

Well my nan had breast cancer.

So I get touched by that.

But also the words.

I can just about stop myself from crying until the "Bury me in all my favourite colours" bit.

Then at the "I will not kiss you" that makes me cry a lot.

Then "Know that I will never marry" that just breaks me down completely.

So yeah.I love the song.Can't stop listening to it.

Well I heard this on the $2 concert and it moved me, but I couldn't help but notice that the melody is very familiar and whats killing me is that I can't remember where I've heard it before, someone please tell me! thanks

as sung at the 2$ bill concert;

this song is obviously about a sick patient who had cancer, and the patient is dying slowly.

the ending lyrics i think should be the hardest part of death, is leaving you instead of 'this', because it makes more sense but MCR might have wanted to be more metaphorical. evs.

My grandmother died of cancer. This song means a lot to me. I remember going through all of this.

I haven't heard this one properly yet (I've got a live version, but it's pretty crappy). When I do hear it, I just *know* I'm gonna cry. My grandma has cancer, so this is painful. Knowing she's probably thought most of this at some point in the last year....

The lines that really get me are "bury me in all my favourite colours" "Know that I will never marry" and of course, "the hardest part of death is leaving you."
