Considering the album is largely about climate change, war in this context is likely not just about fighting, but about our disregard of nature, spiritual endeavour and self cannibalisation as a race in the pursuit of greed. The lyrics about lacking a goal and this being his way at the end, that he's finally free from the pursuit of all toxic to the spirit.
The lyrics also imply that the peaceful society he joins are the Nommo of Niberu, an amphibious race who supposedly joined ancient tribes and enlightened us as the planet Niberu passed by. Niberu follows an orbit from Sirius-C to our own solar system.
I'm still not sure if it's just one individual's perspective or correspondence between his pleas for guidance to Sirius and the enlightened beings he seeks to join. But interpretation is all up to us...
It's about going back to Sirius to meet them.
I don't know if they believe that stuff (I used to and now I think it's just a dumb theory), but it's still interesting as a myth and a very original theme for music.
Gojira mentions the star Sirus C. From this reference everything falls into place ,especially the first couple of lines

This may be about the planet Niburu which is "said" to be a planet
around the star Sirus C. The big deal about Niburu is that it is believed by
The ancient Dogon tribes to posses the Nommo (amphibians race who came down to mankind to share their knowledge). This planet is also said

So basically I belive that Gojira is talking about being with the Nommo to learn their wisdom and to do their biddings.

Sedna a planetoid or whatever you will call him orbits our Sun in 11000 Years, and is part of our Solarsystem. That makes all clear i guess ;)
I don't believe there is something like that called Planet-X (Nibiru)
No doubt there could be a Planetoid (or any other Space object you want) that is on heading to our solarsystem, it's just a Question of Time it will arive.
Arm back to Topic: Beside's my personal Opinion i guess you're (omegaspectral) right with all that Nibiru thing and some Race from other Planet's. I just can't believe that there is something like that
