Lyrics for Call Me When You're Sober as interpreted by LaDiablo

Call Me When You're Sober Lyrics
Don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me
Come find me
Make up your mind

Should I let you fall
And lose it all
So maybe you can remember yourself
Can’t keep believing
We’re only deceiving
Ourselves and I’m sick of the lie
And you’re too late

So don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me
Come find me
Make up your mind

Couldn’t take the blame
Sick with shame
Must be exhausting to loose your own game
Selfishly hated
No wonder you’re jaded
You can’t play the victim this time
And you’re too late

So don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me
Come find me
Make up your mind

You never call me when you’re sober
You only want it ‘cause it’s over
It’s over

How could I
Have burned paradise?
How could I?
You were never mine

So don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
Don’t lie to me
Just get your things
I’ve made up your mind

There might still be bugs, there are some words that are debateable, let me know and I'll edit it =].

Anyway, much more bluesy than I thought it would be (as a lot of interviews have mentioned), but amazing stuff!! Very literal, easy lyrics to understand =P. No more of that "I think this song's about Jebus!" crap, this is straightforward and unmistakeable =].

Ah yes i agree, very literal, straight forward song.

A little dissapointed, it doesn't have the capturing qualities the other Evanescence songs posess. But it's still amazing.

Can't wait for the video.

Go to youtube and search for Call Me When You're Sober. If you search by last added, you should get about a billion results with the full song. I'd tell you where to download it but I don't want to get sued =X. Try p2p programs and the like, though.

I'm probably the only one who loves this song. It may be straightforward but it has an awesome beat a I lve the way it speaks. Just got done listening to it at myspace.com/evanescence.

This song makes me sad.
It's about Shaun Morgan, lead singer from Seether that she was dating.
He's in rehab right now and I think she put it out early so he could hear it.
Poor guy...his bands guitarist leaves, Amys gone...
they looked so cute together on the Anywhere But Home DVD and the Broken video.
People talked so much crap about Broken, no wonder he's in rehab.
"EVANESCENCE AND SOME GUY".
Not Seether and Amy Lee. :/

Hahaha, I don't think Broken had anything to do with it =P. Even on ABH he was drinking a lot. I feel so horrid that it's this bad, though =[. I like Shaun.

I love how Amy Lee's voice sounds in this song. And her the way she sings it makes the lyrics come alive. Amazing song..I love it.

I have never heard this song all the way through. I just heard the tail end of it on the radio and thought it sounded like Amy Lee's voice. When the DJ said it was new from Evanescence, I had to go read the lyrics and comment. Sad song. Poor little Amy. It must be hard for her.

Wow, this does sound really diffrent. Of course, this isn't like older Evanescence, but it's good, I like it. It's catchy, no?

And yeah, the meaning is straightforward.

I knew this was about Shaun Morgan the first time i heard it because on Seethers Disclaimer 2 Out of my way(number 18) has the lyrics Would you, like to, be the one who sees me lose this all,
Would you, like to, be the one who sees me fall.

I don't think this is Evanescence good.
I am a huge Amy Lee fan...
and she don't even look the same in the video.
And whats up with the dancers??

I just hope the rest of the album is good...

This isn't the Evanescence I know, with the seraphic voice and poetic lyrics. The deep voice and straightforward lyrics remind me of something I would make, but more aggressive. Even the musc video seems like something I would do...

That said, it's a good song. Though Amy sounds different, her voice is still enchanting. The beat is good, but the lyrics are a bit dissappointing.

If anyone else made this, I probably wouldn't listen to it. But if I did, I would probably love it. It's just not what I love in Evanescence.

Then again, their songs can be eclectic. I won't judge the album by one song.

I notice she used the lyrics "if you want me, come find me" from the breathtaking "Anything for You." I wish she would re-release some of her older songs. They deserve credit.

I think Amy has definately had some serious singing lessons between releases. I am also disapointed with the lyrics, they are nowhere near as poetic and cryptic as previous songs but it is a good song all the same.

Like many people I went back and listened to their old stuff between albums and this is extremely different to their Origin stuff so I guess that's why i'm a little suprised at the direction they've taken.

Well, y'know, at least it's better than Cartoon Network... But I still think it is one of the worst song Evanescence ever made, and the video isn't much better...
