Starts with one I can't feel
It's all in your mind anyway
I can't heal
Make me feel this way, oh

Now there's two I can't see
I've never felt this way
I can't feel
Anything anyway

Let's show them the only way
Let's show them our hearts

Only three I can't seem
To get enough anyway
I can't speak
Nothing to say anyway

Let's show them the only way
Let's show them our hearts

Let's show them the only way
Let's sew up their hearts

Distorted light moves in
Or am I mistaken'

It feels so
It feels so
It feels so cold... x2

There goes today
It slowly fades...slowly fades away
Here comes today
Never go...never go away

My Interpretation:I thought it was about, falling in love (starts with one) but then them breaking up and moving on (starts with two) and (i cant heal) over the last person, but keep moving on and then (lets show them our hearts) I thought meant finally proving to himself hes truly fallen inlove and they love him too. Maybe Im just weird. XD The drugs idea does make sense.

General Comment:i always thought this song was about the loss of love, and having many lovers entering your life and then wanting to get away from it all afterwards, possibly dying on the inside from sorrow, and then having a new day to come and take it away. It's shocking to me that it's about drug addiction, but it makes sense I guess. Still, it's an incredible song, and I love it none the less. Shiny Toy Guns is awesome!

General Comment:Honestly thought this song was related to something like a genocide victim or a suppressed prisoner or something like that... I was dead wrong LOL!

General Comment:I always thought about the lines "Let's show them the only way, let's show them our hearts" as if it was from the perspective of the drugs. The drugs are so addictive its as if they have a mind of their own.

he sees it as the end of one day, but then as the start of a new day.

i dont think he's ready to face the new one, though...

General Comment:I always thought he was saying 'there goes THE day' not 'today' but i guess it doesn't really matter.

this song is one of my fav shiny toy guns songs. its SOOO beautiful and omg his voice range is amazing. i agree that it's about drugs which is kind of disappointing. like, it's such a beautiful song, all of theirs are. its kind of weird when u figure out that such a beautiful and deep-sounding poetic song is about something dumb like drugs or a break up or love or something. but i still love this song.

General Comment:when it kicks into the "there goes today.."
it's so epic and beautiful and i love it.

but i think this is kind of about the cycle of life and relationships. people coming and going, that's the numbers.
or possibly the drugs theory is correct. like, you take drugs to make you feel better, but it's like they say.. you always keep chasing that first high. so more drugs come into the picture.
"let's show them the only way, let's show them our hearts" could kind of be like, we're not bad, it's just how we function.
i'm not sure about the distorted light line. it makes me think about waking up at dawn and your room somehow became freezing overnight.
and the "there goes today..." part is basically just the passing of time, but about how every day is essentially the same when you break it down.

General Comment:I'm convinced it's about inspiration through the use of drugs. The goal is to show them your heart, and you take drugs in search of means to do it. Only once you're addicted (after 3), you obviously have nothing left to say.
