  General Comment:I really like this song.
  I keep listening to it over and over.
  I think it's about a guy who was in love with a girl who broke up with him, and he is trying his best to get over it.
  My favorite part is:
  "I took one big step and I looked away
  And then I thought of all the things that I wanted to say
  I'm always too late
  You never got your story straight
  I'm always up late
  I think I'm everything you hate"
  It reminds me of my boyfriend who left me.

  General Comment:this song hits right at home with me. i think it's obviously about a guy who is deeply hurt over a break but is trying his absolute best to get over it. my girlfriend of four years broke up with me three days ago because she said she just wasn't in love with me anymore. this song helps at times and is definitely one of my favorite by BLG.
  
  I won't let you bring me down

  I'm breaking out
  I will learn to love again
  But I will stand a broken man
  
  i think this part means that the guy is going to get over her but he will never forget what happened between the two of them. the girl i just broke up with was my first true love and i will never fully recover from the break up.

  General Comment:I love this song..... Every day I want to run away from the people that hurt me but just enough to make them miss me... I always think to myself about the ones that hurt me

  General Comment:I heard this and I immediately thought of my ex.
  
  
  
  anyway.
  i think that it basically means that, some sort of breakup happened, and he's still in shock of how the break up happened or why or whatever.
  so, he's saying that he wishes that he could "run away, but only far enough to make her miss him" so she can experience what he was going through so she can learn the same lesson he learned.
  
  i think that lesson is to speak your mind or whatever, since he talks about not getting to say how he felt about what happened, probably because he said he felt like she hated him. which is probably what he means by "I need to start to be myself." same thing with the, "i took one big step and I looked away" part. he's saying that he was hesitant. and he's saying he's going to learn from his mistakes, because he says he's still a broken man, meaning he's still effected by it, but he's going to live above it all and move on. and "you never got your story straight" probably means that she didn't tell him the truth, or the WHOLE truth, as to why they broke up.
  
  and the "i'm so sick of everyone else" part means that other people were telling him what and what not to say, as to not sound stupid in front of the girl. OR, they pressured them into going out. or something.

  General Comment:i love this song, its what got me hooked.
  "i wanna scream until no sound comes out and youve learned your lesson" i take this as him wanting to get everything off his chest and hopefully she knows how he feels
  "i wanna run but only far enough to make you miss me" i think he only wants to pretend hes moved on and hopefully she wants him back, like its an act so shell be back in his life.
  "i need to start to be myself" he was always acting never truely himself kind of like a mask?
  "i will learn to love again, but i will stand a broken man" hes going to move on but this breakup has effected him and taught him some kind of lesson

  General Comment:I take back my post above. But when from a girl point of veiw:: when a guy screw you over so many times, you never really recover and your always broken in some way. No matter whether your over that person or not. You NEVER forget what they did. I think that's what this is about.

  General Comment:i think it's about a guy realizing after his break-up how much he changed "i need to start to be myself, becuase i'm sick of everybody else." and that he was deeply affected by what went on but no matter what happened, he'll be okay in the end. and i think this part is completely sarcastic: "i guess you were better off without me."...maybe i'm wrong and maybe i'm right, but no matter what, this song is amazing!
