    General Comment:Regardless what it was meant to mean, I think of my husband who is coming home from prison for the 3rd time in a couple of weeks..... he is home for a bit and then leaves again....he insinuates to me "Did you really think i wouldn't see this through" ...Well ya I have some doubts...

    Song Meaning:to me the song makes me think its from the veiw of a soldier, ( propped up by lyes and promisses)( tell me im a part of history)(they throw me a bone just to pic me dry) but thats just my opinion if its not what it means it could still be used for it

    My Interpretation:I think it's about a soldier

    Soldiers do their best to avoid being afraid. He's not sure what he'll do after the combats done. "I get to go home in one week, But I'm leaving home in three weeks". He is a week away from going home on leave. Leave lasts 2 weeks.

    General Comment:My brother took his own life September 28, 2010. This was the song we played at his funeral. My brother had problems with alcohol and drugs, we found a journal that he had been writing in for little less than a year and it said how bad he hurt and the pain he couldn't take anymore. I so wish we would have known it was that bad for him. It's going to take a long time for my family to get over this. This song brings tears to my eyes, which roll down my face and I can't stop them. I think it described how my brother was feeling and why he had to leave us. I haven't listened to the song since his funeral which has been a week now and I don't know if I can anymore. I think that song has a lot to do with not being able to take the pain felt in one's life anymore. That's the conclusion my family got from this song after listening to it and decided to play it at his funeral. It was actually put on my brother's facebook page by him the morning of September 28th, that night he took his life.

    Song Meaning:It sounds to me like the song is saying that stuff could be better, or that he could have anything, but he
    just doesn't care. That he doesn't care how stuff turns out, that he's just tired of everything. My girlfriend said this song reminded her of me, ha-ha.

    General Comment:the song has alot of doubles if you listin to it ethier he could be talking about he is tired of being on the road or it could be about the time you get form comin home from basic just to be sent away again

    General Comment:I think he means in this song that he has been through a lot in his life. He fakes a smile to make people feel better, but hes just sick of it and wants to just spend his life with those he loves without the problems in his life affecting him.
