Every Step you take is to the end
Chaos, duplicate the human slaves
Mother Nature so far away : Why?
Perfect is the race you dream

Right now, I make my choice
Perfection you fake is not
The soul, not a genetic code
You fools, you ignoramuses

Hatchery, the newborn to celebrate
Ashes to ashes, I see respect in the dust
Life is so perfect

Now for the weak an abortion
Celebrate perfection that grows
The flesh, a gift of science
The soul a fault of a god

Life on its way to the state of fire
From the cold taste of steel
Light embraces the dark, lava flowing free
And the cradle is
Forgot the reasons why
We all lie so pale
On the playground of cold
Mother Nature is at saturation point
And the cradle is falling down

General Comment:This song is about more than that. It criticizes the human race for interfereing in natural processes like life, not appreciating it for what it is. Especially birth. Taking natural processes in our own narrow minded hands without the forethought to know the consequences. Be it cloning, abortion, genetic modification. We will compromise ourselves and nature because of our worldly and empty intentions

General Comment:Fucking amazing song and band. You guys are right, I like -GR's explanation. It does criticise the thoughts of creating one perfect human by cloning. It says everyone would eventually be the same and be "flawless" or in other words perfect. Every step closer we get to doing it the closer we get to the end, these clones would be like abominations to Mother Earth and she would eventually destroy them leading to no one left. The soul isn't a genetic code you can't just make it and eventually everyone will be "souless" because they are just creations of science and no longer real human beings but something made from a lab. We will eventually weaken and fall mercy to it.

General Comment:I'm sure this song is speaking out against cloning. It reminds me a little bit of Rammstein's Mutter, only instead of saying how cloning affects the individual clone, it focuses more on it's affect on the planet. Like what would happen if all humans became clones of a "genetically perfect" person. Then there would be almost no more genetic variation and the human race would start to stagnate... pretty deep stuff.

    \m/ Gojira rules! \m/

General Comment:It's seemingly pretty obvious. The song criticise the thought of creating the perfect human by cloning and what will follow if we do. The removal of the weak, all of us genetic codes with no soul, and man being made into a machine of flesh.
