I feel this his punishment song....God will prevail one day to this unjustice...
It's ridiculous how well this song actually fits it though.
Max is speaking in a condescending tone to Seth:

He's saying to Seth how Seth's actions have left the world in fear of him and that Max has had enough of Seth's evil.
Seth is too far gone to be saved by Max's words, and he just laughs in Max's face:

things couldn't get much worse,I've had it up to here, you know your end is near", people that have drunks in their family feel like prisoners, and feel like things can't get worse. And the chorus totally sounds like it too when he says "you had to have it all

Like hes say, you had to have it all, the booze and a "happy family", but he couldn't provide that. So, he'll tell him how it is and leave him in his misery when no one in his family is there for him, or cares anymore. Please post and tell me if anyone else thinks the same way...
