So it seems that some of the commenter have caught on to some of the themes in the song, but I think the main theme is still being over looked.

Situations are irrelevant now

The first line receives more clout later on in the song, but what it means is that the situation (Ronnie and his GF) does not matter now because he is going out to flirt.

At the beginning is the flirting in a bar between Ronnie and a one night stand:

She loves the way that I tease I love the way that she breathes

Then the sex:

I touched her (ooh) She touched my (ahhh) It was the craziest thing.

As for the next line, "I love the girls who hate to love because they're just like me", this just means a girl who doesn't want to fall in love and has hate for a person so she has a one night stand to get back at them (be it ex-boyfriend or terrible father).

Continuation of the one night stand theme:

I fall in love for a night ... Don't worry I'll be gone when the morning comes

Now the chorus....This is where the song takes an interesting turn. It is either a back and forth between Ronnie and his actual girlfriend as such:

GF: Darling what is going on? Ronnie: Honestly that never happened GF: Lying is your favorite passion......

Or it is all from Ronnie's point of view. What is important is the final line "dying is your latest fashion" which is always said by Ronnie either way. What does Ronnie mean by this? Lets continue on to find out.

Back to Ronnie's thoughts... It seems hes frustrated about the situation with his girlfriend, as well as girls that lure him into one night stands because they respect their BFs or his GF as much as he does (they're just like me)

The frustration it's a regular thing I hate the ones who love to hate because they're just like me

Ronnie goes back to talking to his girl friend. He basically tells her, she says that one kiss with someone else and she will love to hate him. Then he tells her she just loves to be treated badly and lied to.

I know you love to insist and all it takes is a kiss and you just love to hate me You know you love all the lies so don't act surprised that I just love to hate you

I think the final lines bring the whole chorus together and tell what the last important line in the chorus "dying is your latest fashion" means... So now we have Ronnie and his GF arguing and he tries to kiss her and she pulls his hair, not out of pleasure but anger.

I kissed your lips you pulled my hair it was the craziest thing

This is where Ronnie takes a turn for the worst. He says:

I love the girls who love to hate (Breathing)

People think the breathing is part of sex or passion, really Ronnie just doesn't put the word 'breathing' into the song. What he is saying is by angrily pulling his hair she choose to stop breathing. AKA Ronnie kills her out of anger and dying becomes her latest fashion, just like he said in their argument. The song is a little deeper and angrier than most seem to catch on to. You have to read it like a story and it just seems like this could be an actual outcome.
