i think this songs about how God sees everything in our lives. How nothing can be hidden from him. It's tells how he knows more about you than you know about yourself.

Personally, I think this song is about a person who is going through a hard time in their life, like a death in the family or something, and think that no one else knows or understands the pain they're feeling, but one person knows, and they have no idea that they do, they might not even know this person exists. But this person understands their pain and wants them to acknowledge their existence.

In a different perspective I believe this song maybe somebody who maybe pregnant or something like that Because she says "if you had eyes to see down inside your stomach" So see the purpose of new life. So even through all the mistakes and everything its still going to happen. Maybe doesn't want this new life and so She or the person wants to die just to get rid of it...Thats my perspective.

Actually I meant like God sees this person and that person might be pregnant but she might not understand the full meaning of the life growing. The woman is just want it to go away, but it wont. So basically you cant limit god from what you do even though they are mistakes.

it says in the Bible that some people in there faith, sometimes you get focused on other things, and sometimes you forget about your faith and you "fall asleep" like, you just forget like in the song "whispering fingertips" the lyric " walking around in my sleep, running into walls i cannot see" it's like time passes you by and you just forget or just fall out of your faith, and its like God is saying " i was pouring out of passion, to light the step your on" like saying He was trying to help but you ignored or didn't realize, " you choose not to hear or waken" obviously this person shut Him out or just ignored or didn't realize and if that persond idn't realize it's like they ignored the message and they still feel alone, but He's saying " you can't limit me..." no matter what you do in life, even if you feel like it's the end, your always forgiven, people make mistakes, even murder, or abortion, if you ask for forgiveness, you'll get it... cause if you ask and God just says no, then what was the poin of jesus dying for our sins? He didn't just say " specific sins." He clearly says "ALL SIN" and maybe that girl is pregnant, that i'm unsure, lol

okay, so.... Hmm... I don't think this person is pregnant... Has anyone ever heard that your body is a temple of God??? Well, I think this song is about God trying to help someone who does not want help and when the song says

it means, if only you could look deep into yourself you would see how great everything could be..... Or something like that......

Alright, I sort of agree with chris.p here. I think it could be about God kind of trying to make Himself obvious to show this oblivious person that, the world can be cruel and people make mistakes, but He forgives you, excepts you, and loves you in spite of it. But it is like this person just doesn't want to listen or pay attention to the truth..

I think this song is about abortion.
A woman who's pregnant, and God is telling her to keep the baby, but the woman won't listen to Him.

I think this song is about abortion, because lacy says,
"If you had eyes to see, down inside your stomach".

Plus I think lacys mom was a pregnant teen, so she may have considered abortion. I think because lacy says,
"Then you would understand, what I mean, who I am."

I think she means that this person cant just get an abortion, because she chose to do it when she says,
"You cant limit me, with all your gross mistakes."

this song could be about bolimia. she says inside your stomach
and these gross mistakes

it could mean a person is so grossed out with themselves about throwing up and they just feel so bad about their sins and thats what makes them blind to the fact that god can still fogive.

but its more likly to be about a pregnant woman and she doesnt want her baby and sees it as a gross mistake (she could have been raped or drumk or got pregnant to get revenge on someone)but god is saying if you saw inside your stomach at the amazing way this baby is formed you would see how awesome i am and how great my creation is. like it says in the bible let ppl see all of gods great deeds so they can give him praise. and then you would understand that i give new life and can make you into a new creation also by fogiving your sins

This song is totally about abortion!! I think it's from a person's perspective whose mother maybe considered or tried to have an abortion, but didn't. (Maybe it happened to Lacey...her mother was single, and probably somewhere in her teens.) "I've seen all your motivations, ones for good and ones for hell," refers to the motivations of the attempted abortion. The good ones ("I don't want my child to starve, and I can't take care of it") and the bad ones ("This is a foul creature, and I don't want it!")
If you had eyes to see down inside your stomach, you would understand that the thing inside of you is a living human being, a precious child.
