I just saw an interview with paramore on stevens untitled rock show on fuse and went out and downloaded their cd and its fucking awesome and although the foos do the song better its cool to hear it sung by a female with a great voice.

i only have a remix of this. is a rock version by paramore out there anywhere? this song's so great; the foo fighters of course did a great job, but like nycait said, it's fun to hear it being sung by a female, let alone hayley. I hope a rock version of this is released.

i think the band are great. Yeah, okay, not as good as the Foo Fighters, but with Hayley's vocals are amazing.
Although, the Foo Fighters make it sound like a tribute song, as it was meant to be, and Paramore make it sound like a love song...
ah well, i love both versions.

I think this is a brilliant and powerful cover of the Foo Fighter's classic. It's a song about having someone who's your hero, your ironman/lady, but they are just ordinary people like you and me. It relates to doctors who work all night saving people's lives, ambulance crews who appear at accidents and try their best, day in day out. It's about your dad/mum, who no matter what happens will always stand by you. It's when you see someone normal doing something and you just think wow, that is phenominal. It's a beautiful song.

I think this song is about a break up that you didn't want coming. Between who is at fault, you keep thinking and thinking it over, and wishing that they'd see you want them to still be together. It's extremley sad but I love this song and right now I relate to it a lot.

the last time i checked, Ethan4808, music is music. Complicated chords and riffs arent what makes it great. Its the heart and meaning.

Yes this isnt Paramores song therefore it shouldnt be under there name.
But I never got why people get so offended when other bands cover songs.

well... I don't know what the Foo Fighters meant.

But I hear this song and think about Jesus. Can't help it... he's my only hero and he appears quite ordinary.

First of all, why do people come on here, and talk about how much they hate a song? Why don't you just go talk about a song you do like? And second, as much as I like this cover, abi4eva, there is no way this cover is better than the original. But, don't get me wrong, I really do like this version, and hayley has a great voice

I haven't heard the original song but I think the Foo Fighters are cool. I like Paramore though and I like the lyrics and Hayley's vocals in this song. I think this song has a lot of meaning.. And the title can easily describe that this song is about a hero you have that is ordinary like you, but you still look up to them.
