Take this time to realize
That you always shut your eyes
In the midst of trial
And everything is always right
(And I think that it's time)
This battle must be won
(But you pushed it aside)
Pushed it aside
Pretend that it's gone

This circle never ends
And it's time you
Just face it, don't pretend
That it's over
This circle never ends
And it's time you
Just face it, don't pretend
That it's over

Take this time to realize
That you always force a smile
In the midst of trial
And everything is always right
(And I think that it's time)
This battle must be won
(But you pushed it aside)
Pushed it aside
Pretend that it's gone

This circle never ends
And it's time you
Just face it, don't pretend
That it's over
This circle never ends
And it's time you
Just face it, don't pretend
That it's over

And it never ends
It never ends
And it never ends
(And it never ends)
No, it never ends

This circle never ends
And it's time you
Just face it, don't pretend
That it's over
This circle never ends
And it's time you
Just face it, don't pretend
That It's over
It's over

General Comment:This is my very favorite song by Paramore, and they are definitely one of my favorite bands. This song is just so emotional...it always makes me cry. Not sad tears, but just overwhelming emotions tears. I love it.

General Comment:I think this song can apply to many situations. More than just relationships or facing your fears or whatever, it's about facing a problem/obstacle/situation and just owning up to the fact that no matter what anyone says and does, it's done. It's over. Let it be done so the cycle doesn't just start back up again.

It's like she's grabbing someone by the shoulders and shaking them. "Wake up and face the facts."

General Comment:To add to my previous interpretation the song doesn't necessarily have to be about people who are dating, it could be about anyone. Perhaps someone who is being treated bad or just not being treated like they should be treated and they are just trying to block it out and deal with it rather than taking a stand and defending their self.

General Comment:I believe that the song basically is about her being in a relationship and the person that she is with always just trys to cover things up and forget about them whether than trying to deal with and fix their problems. So the problems just go around in circles like a revolving door, you just keep going round and round until you make the choice to step out.

General Comment:To me this song kind of describes this "friendship" i have... It's just a never ending circle and I want to get out of it but the other person doesn't notice or just doesn't want to face the truth. Thats what the song means to me.
    great song, GREAT artist.

General Comment:I agree with hanny911, the issue I relate this with is an abusive relationship, although I don't think this is the issue Paramore had in mind.

General Comment:I think she is describing a lie. Everything between her and someone else was a lie and all it's doing is repeating itself. What they are doing is like a hibitual action and just keeps going.

General Comment:i think the writer of this song (hayley) is talking about an issue in her life that she has pushed aside and blocked out, when really she knows she has to face it otherwise it will never end and continue to be an issue until it is dealt with.

General Comment:I think this is about someone who just won't face the problem, even though, like a circle, it's never solved. This person pretends like there is no problem and just won't accept that there's anything wrong with their life, relationship, whatever.
