  General Comment:I agree with most of you...to me this song is about the battle between good and evil. A war with your inner demons and temptation.

  General Comment:Well, to me (as I listen to the song, of course), this song is about the singer getting sick of his inner devil (or THE Devil him/herself) telling him what to do but what he's being told to do is wrong and is just tearing him down even more; to the point where he just couldn't ignore it anymore and is calling for God to help him fight off "his inner demon". The "You love me, you hate me" part sounds like him first being tricked into listening to this "inner demon" and thinks that it cares about him, but then he realizes that, no, it doesn't. It just wants to hurt him. Then, when the singer starts singing, "You can't have me anymore" it sounds like he's finally winning (and maybe that God is helping him win in the fight against his "inner demon") and the ending music sounds like the battle between him and his inner demon is over, even though he knows that it'll probably happen again.

  Song Meaning:What this song means to me. In a strong way (it's one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists) is that he is in a bad relationship and he's always holding in all of the pain from the fighting. He just takes the mental abuse untill he can't take it anymore and becomes desperate to just let go of the pain. That's why this song (along with most on the cd) have a stong tone of desperation to them. He's clearly having a very hard time dealing with holding everything in and is at a breaking point. He makes it clear when he says "I don't wanna be afraid, I don't wanna run away, I don't wanna sit here fading. It's more than I can take" I feel he is afraid of confronting the person, but he doesn't want to run away from them and doing nothing just makes him feel like he's fading away and he becomes desperate, so he just wants to "LET GO" and pretend it doesn't bother him.
  
  I probably feel this because I basically just explained a major part of my life. I deal with it almost every day I go through this same delima. It sucks and it really is more than I can take. My parents and my last girlfriend do this to me to make me feel this way. It's when you want to just explode on someone but you know you can't so you just have to let it go. But it really does suck.

  General Comment:This is an awesome song. Doesn't matter which way you slice it the message is this: There are things in life that try to control us and try to break us down (addictions, sicknesses, etc). We have to tell these things to release their grip on us, fight them and then make them leave us alone.
  
  The "LET GO" screams give me a sense of confidence when I am in a good mood and a sense of please take it all away when I am down. Red already outdid themselves when they made this song.
  
  Always will be an epic song to me.

  General Comment:i believe that this song is directed toward satan. he will not hold back from completely ruining somebodys life. he'll make it seem like you're doing yourself good, when really you're destroying yourself. satan will tear somebody down to the point that they feel like they're worth less than the dirt on the ground. this song is an emotional outburst for anybody who is experiencing the devils torment. the singer is basicly asking him a simple question. "why?". "why must you be so evil? you've done enough. just let me go." he doesnt want to be afraid of life anymore. hes tired of running away. he just wants freedom. then in the bridge, something snaps in the singers head, and he loses control and basicly gives the devil the middle finger and is simply not going to allow him to control his life anymore.
  
  ahhhh but if only it were really that easy...
