Ne-yo – Sexy Love

  General Comment:I know its called sexy love, but it seems to be more of a love song than a lot of those other modern, superficial rap songs just about sex, money, and violence. I'm a heavy metal fan, so ive never been into much other than metal, but I do respect a lot of music, fueled by the only standard of an artist convincing me that they do it for the music, and neyo has definitely done that for me with his song.

  Memory:How did this song even air on the radio back in the day? I mean sure all music then was like softcore porn, but THIS one is pretty explicit, despite what the sentimental tone would lull the sensors into believing. Back then, my mom's car didn't have a CD player, so we listened to the radio; we'd spend every morning on our way to my highschool laughing at the double entendres and rediculously horribly written crap rap. This song took it too far, it was so awkward: my mom would always kinda have this look like "Okay, how long until I have to turn the radio off? I feel like I'm being assaulted here and I'm letting my baby be assaulted." This came on and the look got paler and paler like "Okay, what would be less awkward, turning this song off or just sitting here quietly while this old men graphically Describes cumshot facials, all the stages of sexual excitement and orgasm, and sexual positions/movements"...and then it came to the volcano line and she quickly turned it off, wincing and then sighing and looking at me as if she'd just watched her lil girl get molested. Awkward. No, she's not a prude by any means, but jeez this song isn't family radio friendly at all. Of all his songs, was this really the one the radio stations had to play over and over? Srsly, why would somebody wanna hear a graphic sex song, let alone on the radio?
