    General Comment:When you first fall in love you dont realize you say goodbye to "apathy". Sometimes you try to be apethetic over and over when you can't make it work... but that wont work either. When you love someone, you just do. When he sings, "So don't you stop pushing me, I can take so much" I think its about realizing when you really give your whole heart, its gone. He sings, "I could be happy here as long as you're near to me/ As long as you're close to me". Maybe they didnt work out but he realizes there he cant stop his love. Being "close" doesnt necessary mean they are "together".

    General Comment:When I first heard this song, I thought it was about a man (the person singing the song) falling in love with someone in a mental hospital. As I read the actual lyrics and all of your thoughts, I'm beginning to think that was kinda silly :) Throughout the song, I get the feeling that he's paying extra attention to this girl and that he wants everything to be perfect for her. That could just be because he loves her. Ha.

    I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person that tears up a little with these lyrics. For some reason, the way they are sung make me want whatever he's singing about: love, want, whatever. I can feel that intense sort of feeling and it makes my heart ache.

    General Comment:He's talking about love. Ever since he fell in love, he's not apathetic or nonchalaunt about life. He actually cares now, a lot, and its all thanks to loving her. He's saying goodbye to emptiness and hello to love.

    General Comment:I like your ideas, because it's the complete opposite of what I was thinking. What I got from the song was that he's in love with someone but things aren't going well. It becomes routine and the same thing everyday, so he has no more feeling [apathy]. He's doing all he can to make this person happy and they don't appreciate it. When they walk away, he feels empty. The relationship sounds unhealthy from my point of view.

    General Comment:I completely and totaly agree with vipeenikki.

    This song is about how he is in love and now he feels again and can say goodbye to those days of not caring.

    I love the line theres a jump in my step oh how I'd love for a man to sing this song to me.

    I feel this is a positive love song as compared to a song about after a break up. It is beautifully refreshing.

    General Comment:I just got this cd and wow! It's amazing!

    The lyrics are so beautiful in this song. He is saying goodbye to being emotionless and not feeling.
