--Reference to the Great Shift that began 12/21/2012. There are three populations. Those whose agenda is dark, those who are ignorant and asleep (most of the population) and those who are awake and enlightened (light-workers). When conspiracies become more and more prevalent on a mass scale, are you going to turn a blind eye and scoff, will you open your mind and wake up, or will you remain hypnotized to the power heads of the world (government and a small amount of very specific families that control the entire world).

--Just as it states. We have been in an age ruled by fear from those in power who thrive on greed. This song is a release and a way to let this information out to the public in a relatively safe manner, as Matt has obviously been enlightened to these happenings. When you are given this information, it is extremely overwhelming and there is an extreme sense of urgency to help facilitate awakenings in other humans. There is a war that expands far beyond just our planet.
And for the "Fully loaded satellites, will conquer nothing but our minds" - it's refereeing to Project Blue Beam - in which the USA government trough satellites will create holograms of alien invasion so that later they can form the New World Order.
In one part of the song Matt says "it's just our leaders in disguise" therefore still sticking to the fact that everything our government feeds us is a lie - including the things that seem to be confirmed by Revelation.

I had to research Zetas and found exactly what I expected, aliens {or mexican gangs).
So according to many conspiracy theorists our government is way out of control and power hungry.
Global Domination has been a conquest for man since man's existence so maybe not conspiracies.
Anyway the whole album is an out cry against one world government.
This song suggests that aliens will come, distract us. The truth however will be that these aliens are nothing more than world leaders posing as aliens to steal our minds, thus our freedom.
Seems crazy but they already did it once with War of the Worlds. People went nuts.
With the Technology we have now, I have no doubt that this is a possible scenario for a rising one world gov't.

Using the same tools as our leaders, passing it on to their spawn so they can be greater in future generations Harvesting from the blind so their gene pool can thrive in future fields. This is my favoutite song of the Muse, and they are my favourite band - never has music caught my imagination.
