You want a love to last forever
One that will never fade away
I want to help you with your problem
Stick around, I say

Coming up, ooh, coming up, yeah
Coming up like a flower
Coming up, I say, ooh

You want a friend you can rely on
One who will never fade away
And if you're searching for an answer
Stick around, I say

Coming up, ooh, coming up
Coming up like a flower
Coming up, yeah

You want some peace and understanding
So everybody can be free
I know that we can get together
We can make it, stick with me

It's coming up, ooh, coming up
Coming up like a flower
(Coming up) coming up for you and me

Coming up, coming up
Coming up, coming up, I say
Coming up like a flower
Coming up
I feel it in my bones
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

You want a better kind of future
One that everyone can share
You're not alone, we all could use it
Stick around, we're nearly there

It's coming up, ooh, it's coming up everywhere
Coming up like a flower
Coming up, for all to share
Coming up, yeah
Coming up, anyway
Coming up like a flower
Coming up

I'm sure Paul once said this song inspired John Lennon to start writing songs again, so he must have thought it was alright

john died trying to stop war and change the world. paul knows that the people must learn the way to peace on their own. this song is paul's way of saying "i wish i could help you. i could pull a john and start campaigning against war and all that, but it really wont do any good right now. but don't worry, if you wait a little longer you will get to live through what john was fighting for. its coming up." this song can also be paralleled with the Age of Aquarius by The 5th Dimension. both are saying the same thing really. and guess what, we are at the dawn of this blossoming age as i type.

The older I get, the more I like Paul McCartneys music. His “stupid” love songs are also really good, and can be enjoyed by everyone. It’s fun grooving with other people once in a while.

Did you know that the Paul is dead conspiracy is so valid that there are many professional detectives that have dedicated their lives studying and researching this case uncovering such substantial evidence leaning in the direction of foul play and that the original James Paul McCartney has been gone for some time now 😳 It’s so very clear that the Illuminati works in such mysterious ways pulling it off right under our noses. It’s coming up all the time in album cover clues and lyrics in songs. It’s constantly coming up!

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
