The same hole Stephen Hawking lost a bet about with regard to information being lost within it, and in Sep 2015 came up with a theory of how information is instead stored in the event horizon, the outer edges of the black hole...<br /> <br /> We don't know what happens after death. Or what happens to a conscious being after entering a black hole. But if information is preserved within even a black hole system, perhaps at the event horizon, maybe, just maybe, the information can be transmitted across time and space...<br /> <br /> Sounds like you received a communication from the unknown. Muse, as any artist would, has an appreciation of the unknown. Your sharing has also allowed me to appreciate another dimension of this song--the black hole following the death of hopes and expectations, results in revelations... and the holding, within particles, mass-energy, whatever mysterious substance that consciousness is made of... has been, and always will be.<br />

@Snailfish I'm glad you got something positive from what I typed. I was so incredibly upset back then, but felt compelled to share that experience, and what the song meant to me. I didn't know what you wrote about black holes. That makes it all even more interesting, so thanks for sharing! Good luck to you and your fiancée. :)

@bohemianbanshee I read the reply about blackholes and it made me cry even more added to your interpretation. I also want to add something similar that I read in a book. I think your fiancee wanted to tell you something like this:<br /> <br /> ""I will love you forever, whatever happens. @bohemianbanshee Oh My God!! You're still looking and contributing to this site as of January 2016! I sent a personal message to you a year later (this last January) and just wanted to connect and see how you were doing. I love your words and interpretations and amazing openness and that's what compelled me to reply to what you wrote about Black Balloon years ago!! I hope (however long ago that was) you took a look at "Iris" and the line "you'd bleed just to know you're alive". Please! Please! Send me a private message...even to say "Get Lost"....which I hope you wont. I'm not looking for a long term correspondence....it just would do my soul so much good to hear from you again....if you wouldn't mind. @bohemianbanshee I absolutely LOVE your interpretation best! It made me tear up. I hope that after all of these years you have moved on to find love again and build a life with someone wonderful knowing that all of the loves of our life are a collective. One much like what @Snailfish described about their interpretation from yours. I think you both were so completely spot on! I beliveve everyone who is special to us in our lives is waiting like stored information tucked away in a safe place and that all of this love doesn't rival newer loves but blends with and adds to them all.

@altamber8, Thank you for your reply. My beliefs are very similar to what you describe. For a long time after my fiancee's death, I was afraid that becoming involved with other people would change my energy and take me farther away from what we had together, but I think you're right, everything just blends.

@bohemianbanshee. Hey, it's 2024 now and I created an account specifically to say thank you so much for sharing your experience. It was very moving and deep. I hope you held it close and cherished it throughout the years and it got you through some tough times. I believe he was speaking to your friend knowing she would relay the message to you. (I have goosebumps whilst typing this so I'm thinking that's a yes)<br /> I woke up about a week ago with this song playing in my head already. Specifically 'our hopes and expectations, black holes and revelations' was the part that I was aware of.<br /> You see my boyfriend died in 1996 in a motor vehicle accident, so when I read your words the had special meaning for me too. I believe you are spot on with him being able to be around you moreso if you don't 'fade away' to that shadow of a person you were before he left. He is in a higher energy place now so we have to try to raise our vibration to meet them, while they lower theirs. Very hard to do whilst in the extreme grief that you feel from your loss. <br /> Anyway, it's been 28 years, but our song played on the radio this morning (Wish you were here by Pink Floyd) and I dreamt of him 2 nights ago so we still have a thing, even though I have been married to his childhood friend for many years (whom I believe he sent to me)<br /> I hope you see my message, and you are are happy and fulfilled but forever changed for the better by your experience. I know I can easier identify whats more important in life, when 3 seconds can change everything so quick.
