    General Comment:I think "And another one goes, and another one goes by" refers to failed relationships, maybe trying to fill a void? The person he sees right in front of him is another prospective relationship, but he doesn't think he has anything for her, or that he's not worthy. After every failed relationship, he keeps considering her, but he can never muster up the courage. So he keeps going through partners.

    General Comment:I think this song is referring to one person in particular. I believe that "Another one goes by" refers to yet another day or opportunity lost that the writer spent daydreaming about a girl whom he feels is too good for him.

    General Comment:In my own opinion, both songs are great. You can't take away credit from the band that made the song, in this case Mazarin did a great job of creating it. And, as i'm a walkmen fan, i love the way they covered it.

    General Comment:Yeah I know. Some of the words are slightly different, not that it matters...but it kind of does. Besides, Mazarin had only released the song, not even quite a year, before the Walkmen decided to cover it...and of course made a song, that would have otherwise remained obscure, somewhat popular. That gives them a bit of credit.

    I've actually heard both versions...and...well while Mazarin's is good...call me biased but the Walkmen's version is much better.

    Whether the words were writtin by them or not, the Walkmen put their stamp on it... and that's good enough for me.

    General Comment:Yeah, the thing is that i have posted on almost all of their songs over the last year or so.

    yet, all but about 4 have been deleted!?! I dunno if its my goofy last name but Im mad. HAHA.

    Thats for all the bands i have posted for! 4 or so total!

    Either way, it is cool. Too few people know of or appreciate this band. Amazing band. Fell in love when I heard about half of "Everyone..." and have enjoyed everything since.
