I once had a love but soon had enough
He was a false contender
He got so thin there must have been deep sorrow gnawing away at him

What will I do?
Will it always be you?
I hope and I pray he’ll leave me one day

We were so sweet under the Copper Beach
You left a mark you sunk your teeth
Into the back of my neck, oh let’s not pretend I needed the lesson that you taught me well

What will I do?
Will it always be you?
I hope and I pray he’ll leave me one day
What will I do?
Must it always be you?
I hope and I pray he’ll leave me one day
What will I do?
Must it always be you?
I hope and I pray he’ll leave me one day

General Comment:I just like that they're from Glasgow, Scotland.
Their sound is sooo damn groooovy to me!
It's both the dog's bollocks and freakin' spot on.

Camera Obscura makes me incredibly high :-)
    Weeeeeeeeeeee Oh Man!

That bit about the love that won't leave her
is a wee trite, I'd have to say. But I ain't agonna
get my knickers in a bunch over it.

Hell! Am I even WEARING knickers today?

General Comment:Am I the only one who senses a slight eating disorder connection here?
I'm most likely mistaken, but this can be awfully accurate for describing that kind of battle.

General Comment:She should be over this guy but is having difficulty letting go (even though he was most likely a jerk).

Also, I think it should be "under the copper beech" (a tree) not the sandy one (beach).

General Comment:I loooove this song. In particular:

"You left a mark, you sunk your teeth
Into the back of my neck
Oh, let’s not pretend I needed the lesson
    That you taught me well"

    Perfect.

General Comment:a love she once had has left, but not in her mind - she prays one day he will leave her so she can move on.
