When I see your smile
Tears run down my face
I can't replace
And now that I'm strong I have figured out
How this world turns cold
And it breaks through my soul and I know
I'll find deep inside me
I can be the one

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

It's okay
It's okay
It's okay

Seasons are changing and waves are crashing and
Stars are falling all for us
Days grow longer and nights grow shorter
I can show you I'll be the one

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
'Cause you're my
You're my, my
My true love
My whole heart
Please don't throw that away
'Cause I'm here for you
Please don't walk away and
Please tell me you'll stay, yeah
Whoa
Stay, whoa, whoa
Use me as you will
Pull my strings just for a thrill
And I know I'll be okay
Though my skies are turning grey (grey)

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you send me to heaven

'I will never let you fall I’ll stand up with you forever I’ll be there for you through it all Even if saving you sends me to heaven'

My boyfriend has cancer. So--he always says stuff like this to me. This song makes me tear so much. I love my boyfriend with all my heart. I would never leave him.

This song is so beautiful. Most of the song is accoustic and then near the end the whole band joins. It's beautiful

i have read every comment on here, and i have been touched by some of the stories that people have shared about what this song means to them. now it's my turn. i was reluctant to listen to the song cuz i thought it it would be like the other songs on the album, but i wasn't paying attention and it cam up on my shuffle, and i started tearing up (i wold have flat out cried if i hadn't been in school at the time). to me this song is about my friend Kim and I. she is my true love, she gave me the CD by this band. i wish i could tell her, but sadly i left for France for a year before i got to tell her. ya see, she hadn't been speaking to me for a long time because of what happened between us one night. this guy chris had been playing her, he took her ballroom dancing and stuff, but his ex came back to town, and Kim saw him with her. at the same time i had just had an awful "break-up" with this girll Kayla. and so we were both just comforting each other and just being together. then we just started makeing out, i don't know how it happened or how long it lasted. but it was the most amazing thing in the world. there was nothing else going on in the world. just me and her. since then she hasn't spoken to me, and i hurts. it hurts more no that i'm in a different country. i won't see her for a year, and even then, i don't konw if she'll speak to me. but i love her. and i always will. i would die for her if it could make her live longer. i am her guardian angel. and if you read this Kim, i don't know if you will, but if you do, just know that that night was the best of my life. and i will never forget it. i will never forget you.

    Song Meaning

I think this song is really about love... agree with most comments here... unfortunately, the love is "one sided". Guy loves the girl, but the girl doesn't love him back.

The singer sings to the loved one that he's willing to go through anything to prove her love for her... even willing to die for her. Unfortunately, the girl doesn't love him that much (please don't walk away and please tell me you'd stay), more like begging... he's willing to be there and has accepted that the girl won't love him back, as long as she won't turn her back on him... more like losing hope even... that i got from the line "though my skies are turning grey"... i think that's also the reason why at that part of the song, it started getting louder.

it's a beautiful song, i agree... but it's not called "waiting"

"waiting" is my favorite RJA song, and this---isn't it

This song is amazing. I think it has to do with loving someone. They are going to be there for them forever.

"Use me as you will Pull my strings just for a thrill And I know I’ll be ok Though my skies are turning gray

I will never let you fall I’ll stand up with you forever I’ll be there for you through it all Even if saving you sends me to heaven"

Those lines right there are thee best. Saying that no matter what happens, what you do, what ever you put me through, I am going to be there for you. The person is commited. They want the person to know that they are in it for the long run and that they shouldn't question what they have.

And when the guitar starts to boom in....makes me melt.

I adore this song. It's simply beautiful.

"I will never let you fall I’ll stand up with you forever I’ll be there for you through it all Even if saving you sends me to heaven"

^Someone said something like that to me some time ago. Now that person is basically gone from my life. I miss him alot. So, when I listened to this song for the first time, I just started crying because it reminded me of him. Personally, it's kind of hard to listen to this song without crying, shutting it off, or even thinking about him; but, I still listen to it because it's amazing and also because I can't run away from memories any longer.

"It’s ok. It’s ok. It’s ok. Seasons are changing And waves are crashing And stars are falling all for us Days grow longer and nights grow shorter I can show you I’ll be the one"

^This verse reminds me of when he used to comfort me when I was depressed and sad. It's really weird sometimes, though, because I can almost hear the guy that I miss saying words to me that are along these lines.

I also adore the part of the song when the guitars increase and so does this guy's voice. It literally leaves me breathless. Amazing song.

ohk so here's my opinion of this song

i absolutly adore it! my ex-boyfreind/current best guy freind said that this is our song and i belive him cause no matter what life has put us through we still love each other. maybe not the same love now as then but....love is love no matter what.

and i also love it cause he has been through so much crap and even when he had a broken rib he told me that he was worried about me even though i was perfectly fine.

this song doesnt have to nessacarly mean that someone is hurting or sad but that they love someone so much that they will do anything for them no matter what the price they will have to pay.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
