Excuse me? Doctor? Do you have a moment?

A moment? What's the question?

More of a situation, a gentleman in exam 3

What's the problem?

That is the problem, we're not sure

You got the chart?

Right here

Not much here to say

No doctor, no obvious physical trauma. Vitals are stable

Name?

No sir

Did someone drop him off?
Maybe we could speak to them
Let's get some background on this fella

No ID. Nothing
And he won't speak to anybody

Well, let's say hello
Good morning, I'm Dr. Lawson
How are you today? How are you today?
Look son, you're in a safe place
We wanna help in whatever way we can
But you need to talk to us
We can't help you otherwise
What's happened? Tell me everything

General Comment:It's about a patient who is high on LSD and doesn't speak but really just a intro to "Rosetta stoned." Dr. Albert Hofmann is the man who invented LSD thus (blame Hofmann).

My Opinion:Neither EGB or TREXOR are Maynard, Maynard wouldn't give the meanings of his own lyrics out publicly, that's common sense.

Another bit of common sense, why would he give a fuck enough to register here and post anything?

Sorry for being late to the party, but thought I'd enlighten some common sense onto these poor souls.

It's just basically about a patient one-on-one, and it ties into Rosetta Stoned, otherwise the transition wouldn't have matched so well.

Why the hell would you just make this track, and then add one like Rosetta Stoned right after it?

Common sense people, time to start using it.

General Comment:Okay people, you ARE aware that there are plenty of peole who talk like this who aren't high on anything, right? Associative diskeneisa, for example. Plus if someone was really visited by aliens, or being altered with secret drugs or mind control techniques by the government, it might also cause them to talk like this. And it us easy to make sense (IRL) of what they are saying, sometimes. For example, "The X-File beings," in this song. Or "I had my grapefruit in the sky" - they are using the word "grapefruit" to describe the color pink, i.e. sunrise.

General Comment:Now i dont know but its says vits are stableand stuff . If it was about a vuy on a trip from DMT thatd be offthe charts. I think. Now if u listen to faaip de oiad and losy keys it fits together with the guy in faaip de oiad talkin about area 51 shit i think that once u loop these it becomes a new hidden song . Just try it out and see if u agree with me....

    Song Meaning:Songfacts:

An April 7, 2006 post on toolband.com specifically mentions Dr. Albert (Abbie) Hoffman, the "father" of LSD, stating that on that date he synthesized LSD. In this song, it is meant to be the first time anyone used LSD - this is the reason why he is so freaked out and no one knows what is wrong with him. (thanks, ethan - St.Louis, MO)

General Comment:It is not Dr. Lawson. It is Dr. Wasson, Robert Gordon Wasson. Who did research on Magic Mushrooms and even wrote a book with Albert Hoffman and Carl A. P. Ruck titled "The Road to Eleusis: Unveiling the Secret of the Mysteries".

General Comment:i see this and rosetta stoned as two songs that kinda form a loop but in rosettta stoned he is either coming down or still high either way it begs the question: is he right? has he discovered something we need to listen too? (i mean the guy in the song not the tool singer guy)
