What's your fucking problem? It's true. MJK's mom, Judith Marie, was paralyzed for 27 years, which is approximately 10,000 days. She was very religious, (Maynard wrote the APC song "Judith" at least partially about her), and this song is about her finding her savior now that she has passed away.

Since it's a Tool song, there is probably another meaning behind the song, but you can't deny that this part is true.

Trexor.... you think that there's no way an artist would dedicate a song to his dead mother???? did you not see the APC site after she died? the site was turned into a rather touching memorial to her for almost 2 weeks...

(the song) Judith... MOCKING HIS MOM??? dude, you don't honestly believe that do you? the opening line being...
'you're such an inspiration for the ways that i will never ever choose to be'...

even if 10,000 Days is a decoy (note: NOT A HOAX, but a decoy) it was made to sound as convincingly like a Tool album as possible...

Who cares if its a hoax or not, it's still new music from tool. If its a hoax then its even better becuase then theres another album coming out in a month. But this album is really good in my oppinion.

the copy i have is no joke...its a dope album...Trexor is just not ready for it, just keep playing Lateralus dude. this song is saying that she should be in heaven, and god should not hold any thing that Maynard did against her. she kept her faith even when Maynard went down a diffrent path. even after spending 27 years paralyzed and bascially a miserable life all for her christ and lord. hes saying that she'd better get her wings, shes damn near the posterchild for keeping faith.....

This is fantastic shit, who the fuck cares if this is a decoy album? Clearly this is about his mother, it's beautiful. It really is the most brilliant piece of music I have heard in yonks. It's amazingly written. Ohhh. Sorry for the pointless-ish post.

I must persuade you another way" in Puhit.....it's just..aaaaaaahhhh some emotionnaly loaded....
The entire album is for Judith Marie I think...and that's why it's not a big change like the other one, I think it reflects the Mood of Maynard after the death of his mother.....

Lol.. I've got the new Album.. the Songs are no "Decoy" or "Fake" or whatever.. the only "differences" between Leak and CD are the higher Sound Quality and the more fluent Changeovers between the Songs (and that's normal).. it has a very nice artwork though.. so learn to love the Songs and wait for your Copy :-)

As I take it, Tool seems to have meant the song to mean something along the lines of this:

Judith has worked hard for her religion, even though Maynard isn't particularly Christian (and yes, I am Christian in a different sort of way, so I'm not bringing my opinion in here). Since she has worked so hard, the universe after death should be malleable to what she expected, and thus she should be able to receive what the bible and her faith promised her in reward for her kindness and faith.
