Here is my interpretation, mostly deduced from the video itself. Definitely just an opinion.
It's about his life. He looked around and different from every other people, and some dudes are fighting and no one is startled, when he jolted to do something everyone looks startled at him like a weirdo, a strange person being different from the status quo, then the combined startled wave of opinion an actions stops him from following the status quo. He chooses to follow is 'Unique Weirdo heart' in love, started running backward and everyone in the cars looked surprised, why is he so different? He falls through trials and errors and make mistakes but quickly learns from it. Then he goes faster, climbs over a car, that is now more bold in following his heart and don't give a shit about others opinion. Then he becomes faster and faster and breaks the barrier of reality and becomes enlightened. comes back to the world to show them what he has learned. Then gives a warm child to the child, as in I am 'born again' filled with knowledge and lighthearted too. IT'S ABOUT SELF-INTROSPECTION AND ENLIGHTENMENT.
"Mostly?" Isn't it an instrumental? I like it, but I've always wondered if videos accurately portray the meanings of songs. I think of Hollywood movies made to reflect books (such as the Harry Potter series), yet how more often than not the movies just aren't as good as the written word. Do bands/artists even have full say on the videos made? I would imagine the major record labels get much of the say unless the artist has made the company a great deal of money (artists like Lady Gaga; Madonna in the 80's; Michael Jackson; etc). Even Elvis had little say over his production:) Sorry, I got sidetracked; I've just always been skeptical of videos accurately reflecting a song's intended meaning.
I've always thought that it depends on the artist and if they want the video to reflect the song's intended meaning....or if they just wanna show a bunch of ass shakin'.
Most labels own the artist...at least until the artist is well established and bringing lots of money to the label. Artists know music, not necessarily what will make a good video. I don't know. Maybe you're correct. I'd like to think the musician gets to decide how the video will display. Now goodnight. Enjoy your significant other and your choice from earlier this month.
I dont know, you're probably right. <br /> And the same to you about YOUR significant other of the week. Goodnight.
I asked you to leave me alone on this site. You made your choice of who you want to be with so you get her on here to talk with you. My dating is in reaction to your actions, and it's long overdue. Let's pretend it's summer: leave me alone now.
Oh, so now weather has something to do with it? I recall during summer being just as much yours as I am now.

I've asked you nicely. Please honor my request. I've wasted enough summers on nothing so leave me alone, please.
Understood.
