for a long time i had thought this song to be about lovers reminiscing about the past and the shit they got up to... but it hit me one day...
i now think it is about two friends (young) talking reminiscing about their crazy silly and freaky fun times they've had (though from only one of the two peers)... and their are having this conversation while they are high on drugs (most probably weed as it tends to spark "stoner conversation" =i.e constantly talking about the past and the crazy, silly, irresponsible fun and freaky things you did together).

either that, or she's rubbing it in his face that he doesn't remember anything because he always too high.
it just strikes such a cord with me - as im sure it does with other people in different ways.
The beginning is careless with a hint of trouble but still happy the first verse has a sense of danger and daring with the tooth and the kissing game
Then theres the third verse where is just that bit more daring with the smoking and just bumming with friends.
Then of course theres the last verse, the final descent into where she is, waiting in a waiting room for her friends second OD but still high and joking about it in the dark way that drugs generally do.
i love love love this song and where the line " Hey, remember that time when I was broke? I didn�t care I just bummed from my friends" break out in a huge smile the last verse makes me remember my own time waiting for OD verdicts.
