Cementery Drive (Hidden Message) Lyrics
Bathroom floor.

So far.

Hard.

Don't do it.
Don't do it.
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it

Are you there at all?
Do you care at all?
Are you there at all?

Want me for?

So far.

Hard.

Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Way down.

So far.

Hard.

Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Way down.
Waaaaaaaay dooooown.

Just nearly deafened myself listening for these. And when I DID hear them it scared me. It was just the normal lyrics, then suddenly "Do you care at all?"
I HAD heard some of it before - the bits that are the ends of lines in the actual song - but I just thought they were backing vocals. Cool.

Whoops. Clicked Add before I finished what I was saying. *is a moron*
It's definitely Gerard's view on suicide. I read an interview where they mentioned a concert where he shouted (about suicidal people) "It's a ****ing bull**** way out."

okay, so i listen to this song so much, it should probably be illegal. but is it just me, or do they always say "together forever" near the end of the last chorus? listen to and see if you hear too, cuz thats wat i keep hearing.

okay, never mind, i found it. and personally, i dont think theres a hidden message behind it at all. i just think its part of the song. its makes sense

"singing songs that make you slit your wrists,
it isnt that much fun starin down a loaded gun."

and in the background some one saying "dont do it" basically "dont end your life" "dont slit your wrists"

Ok, i love this song and MCR, but as far as hidden messages? I don't think they really MENT to hide this, it's just kinda thrown in there to make listening more interesting. That's just my view. i can definetely see the anti-suicide message though, but they kinda give off that vibe anyway.

I followed the instructions to the thing where you can hear all the secret messages [thanks for the help shealerenge] and I got the downloady things (I suck with computers but I managed that whole part)...BUT! For some reason *dammit* they won't play! *cries* I wanted to hear the striped songs and the backwards songs, but I can't!! *tears* I hear whispering in the backgrounds, but I don't hear proper words. Are they REALLY "secret messages"? Hmm... I want to hear them! *cries again*

Wasnt this song written about one of the bands friends who commited suicide in her bathroom shortly after they left to go on tour?
"And the collision of your kiss, that made it so hard"
The line that goes something like that on the actual song is because like, Gerard was close to her, and they kissed the night before they went.
Then she offed herself when they left?

- Just something I heard. Don't quote me on it -

"It is believed that there was a girl that the band was very close to prior to being signed (Gerard was especially close to her). The day after My Chemical Romance left for their very first tour, she committed suicide in her bathroom by shooting herself, and during his mourning, Gerard wrote this song."

here is what i found about the song incase anyone was curious:

Many speculate that this song has a personal meaning for the band members. On My Chemical Romance's live album, Life on the Murder Scene, Gerard Way begins the song by saying, "This song is about the hardest drive me and Mikey and my band ever went on. We been on this long road now about four years." It is believed that there was a girl that the band was very close to prior to being signed (Gerard was especially close to her). The day after My Chemical Romance left for their very first tour, she committed suicide in her bathroom by shooting herself, and during his mourning, Gerard wrote this song.[citation needed]Some wonder if it is possible the same girl that Bert from The Used talks about in his linear notes from Love Or Death where he refers to a girl named Kate. Gerard had written to a girl referred to as "K' in the notes for Bullets, where he apologizes for always killing her in songs.

Quotes from 'Cemetery Drive' to support the theory above:[original research?] "I miss you, I miss you so far" "They found you on the bathroom floor" "Back home..." (She was left behind; at home) "Did you get what you deserve?" (Referring to suicide) "And the collision of your kiss that made it so hard" (Gerard kissed her before his departure)

The whispers or 'hidden messages' in this song also give off something supporting the above theory. The words, "Don't do it" are repeated several times, possibly meaning, "Don't commit suicide".

i found out about this a few days ago. its pretty eerie, intriguing nonetheless. the bert connection turned out to be untrue but the rest seems to fit. think about it

also if anyone is still confused on where to find it you can find a reversed version and a stripped version when you can hear the messages
