rain down, rain down
let it cut to the bone
rain down, rain down
just like my words to you
rain down, rain down
let these wounds never heal
rain down, rain down
and my heart always bleed

through the rain and tiers
your eyes hide from me
because they now see
truth in disbelief
so i take my knife
from your bleeding heart
turn it on myself
and i slit my throat

to bleed like you bleed
slowly draining
to feel the rain
cut deep

to bleed like you bleed
slowly draining
to feel the rain
cut deep

with this scar across my neck
i wont forget the day that i
toke the knife into my hands
and waved our lives good bye

rain down and wash us away

General Comment:i love the blackout. so much.

but, and i may be wrong, there is an error in these lyrics.

im sure the first time through it says this:

    through the rain and tiers
    your eyes hide from me
    because they now see
    truth in disbelief
    so then take a knife
    from my bleeding heart
    from your bleeding heart
    turn it on myself"

then the second time through it says what was submitted.
like i said, i could be wrong, but it's what i think.

    awesome song.

General Comment:one correction, i think it says "with this scar across my chest" instead of "with this scar across my neck"

General Comment:the band don't spell conscious wrong, go on their myspace or better yet buy the cd and you'll see, why would someone purposely leave the 's' out of conscious!?

General Comment:This song is about breaking someones heart and hating yourself for it.

    "rain down, rain down
let it cut to the bone
    rain down, rain down
just like my words to you"

this suggests that his words are slowly killing the girl in a sence that its breaking her heart, maybe this is referring to him cheating on her.

    "so i take my knife
    from your bleeding heart
    turn it on myself
    and i slit my throat"

In this part its referring to him feeling guilty for what hes done and almost wanting to kill himself for it, as if hes killed her through what hes done and now wants to die himself.

The title even tells quite abit about the song, For example "Fashion Concious" Suggesting trends, or the way people should act. And then "Suicide" suggesting that people do things they think they should just to be with the trends and fashions.

And i failed English Lit. lmao

    Blackout rule!!

General Comment:i think that this song represents trying to hide your inner self
    "through the rain and tiers
    your eyes hide from me
    because they now see
    truth in disbelief"
this is about the loss of faith, and loss of self beleif and worth
keep your eye on the blackout - they fucking own 2006
