Black rose and a radio fire
It's so contagious
It's just like something changing my mind
I'm gonna take what's evil

Your cover melting inside
With wide eyes you tremble
Kissing over and over again
Your God knows his faithful

I try, to digest my pride
But passion's grip I fear
When I climb, into shallow vats of wine
I think I almost hear, but it's not clear

You are the one
You'll never be alone again
You're more than in my head, you're more

You are the one
You'll never be alone again
You're more than in my head, you're more

Spin faster shouting out loud
You can't steal what's paid for
It's just something hurting again
Murdersome, she's painful

You so believe your own lies
On my skin your fingers
Runaway until the last time
We're gonna lose forever

When you try, don't try to say you won't
Try to crawl into my head
When you cry, 'cause it's all built up inside
Your tears already said, already said

You are the one
You'll never be alone again
You're more than in my head, you're more

You are the one
You'll never be alone again
You're more than in my head, you're more

You'll never be alone again

You are the one
You'll never be alone again
You're more than in my head, you're more

You are the one
You'll never be alone again
You're more than in my head, you're more

Alone again

    My Interpretation

Personally, I think this song is about a couple and their relationship. Each partner is telling their point-of-views throughout a really bad part of their relationship. The first pov of the man is that their relationship is becoming stagnant or boring and begins to be look at other women, "Its so contagious...such something changing my mind," and he ends up cheating with another woman, "Im gonna take whats evil." The woman knows and speaks about how his trembling eyes and actions are giving him away. She feels that they are just acting like nothing is wrong, but knows that guilt is eating him alive. He in turn, feels that he can't swallow his pride and tell her what happened, because he is worried about the reprecussions and that she might leave him or he may hurt her. He then starts trying to drink his problems away, but cannot find full release there either. He then repeats the chorus explaining how he realized how much she means to him. They then end up having an argument and he keeps lying until he finally tells the truth. He then feels "you can't steal what's paid for" as in, you cant change the past and he cannot do anything more about it. He feels as though he has "murdered" her heart, and this causes him much pain as well. In her part, she knows he is lying. As he finally tells her, she turns and leaves, heartbroken. He tries to get her to stay, but she feels like just running away from the world. She feels they might/will "lose forever", as in their dreams of being together forever. They stay together but he feels that she is going to give up and "when you try, don't try to say you wont", meaning she's "going to try to say she wont try". Then she begins to cry when with him, having all the hurt build up inside of her. He describes it as "Try to crawl into my head", because each time she cries it shows her feelings and he wishes he could do something to change the past, but it is impossible. Again he tries to describe his feelings to her in the chorus, telling her that he will never do anything like that again, and that she is "the one" for him.

I think at the end, when he finishes the "you'll never be alone again"... and then the girl's voice echoes "alone again"... I think she actually meant that she was alone again.

The song is beautiful, but I can't help but feel that is has a sad ending.

Amazing lyrics nonetheless... even though the line "murder son she's painful" just throws me off... now the song is so much more enjoyable when I haven't defined my own meaning to it.

This is a great song. Good beat, good rhythm to it. Everytime the chick sings though, she reminds me of a mix between the singer of The Cranberries and Garbage. Not sure if I like that.

Ugh, the song's called You Are the One.

    The contraction bugs me.

Just about a boy and a girl dedicated to each other...

The vocals are amazing. All together just amazing.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Magical

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
