Hey!

Don't touch kid, sleep with the lights on
Touch kid, how you surprise me
Now roll kid, rock your body off!

You're something like a phenomena
Something like an astronoma
Now roll kid, rock your body off!

Something like a phenomena, baby
You're something like a phenomena
Something like a phenomena, baby
You're gonna get your body off

Don't fall asleep with the moonlight
She'll make you sweat in the water
Don't fall asleep with the moonlight
She'll make you sweat in the water

Hot time kid
Hot time kid
It's cold under the blanket
They loved it
Then shot it
The fastest ran and got it
That story that ease my
They hide it up the sleeves, my
They hide it
They hide it
They're never gonna find it

Don't fall asleep with the moonlight
She'll make you sweat in the water
Don't fall asleep with the moonlight
She'll make you sweat in the water

Something like a phenomena, baby
You're something like a phenomena
Something like a phenomena, baby
You're gonna get your body off
Something like a phenomena, baby
You're something like a phenomena
Something like a phenomena, baby
You're gonna get your body off

Hot time kid
Hot time kid
It's cold under the blanket
Hot time kid
Hot time kid
It's cold under the blanket

    General Comment:I think the part:
Hot time kid, it's cold under the blanket... the fastest ran and got it
is possibly about losing virginity at a young age

The part about hiding up the sleeves might be refereing to the contrast between her and those who wear their heart on their sleeve.

    That's my take. Great Album.

General Comment:I think this song is about how hot it can get in the summer. Maybe that tank-tops are an appropriate article of clothing in permitting weather...

General Comment:I agree with all who say this song is hot! & very much about sex. The hiding could refer to hiding drugs, yes, or simply to hiding arousal and the signs thereof. Or possibly to both. As to the Latinate plural problem, I agree that this is probably intentional, but this bothers my overbrain a little each time I hear it. Song ain't about the frontal cortex though.

I think the "don't fall asleep with the Mormon" idea is hilarious, and awesome. For my part for the longest time I've thought it was "don't fall asleep with the mermaid/she'll make you sweat in the water." But I dunno if that's right

General Comment:That's so awesome if this was inspired by that stupid ass LL Cool J song.

General Comment:I love this song. To me I feel this song is about drug withdrawal. That's how I interpreted it when I use to listen to this song and I was going off drugs. "Hot time kid hot time kid" , seems pretty obvious to me. I can see how it is a very sexy song , the lyrics in the beginning but I also see drugs and sex going hand in hand. When Karen says , "something like a phenemena" , to me it means , I shouldn't have gone this far with my addiction and I'm lucky I'm still alive. Like how the hell am I still here? It's a very powerful and sexy song. It shows , to me , the good bad and ugly of drug addiction.

General Comment:OR perhaps it is not about sex at all, and it's about drugs, drugs = plural...phenomena = plural. That seems to make more sense than sex.

General Comment:I like how she calls her guy "kid". Like she looked down upon him and didn't think he had what it takes. In the first line she's saying "don't even think about it" but then she gives him and chance and he surprises her.

When she says "don't fall asleep with the motor on she'll make you sweat in the water" it's like she's giving advice to him. Introducing him to her world.

I can't tell if she's talking about drugs or sex in the third part (or probably both) but it sounds like she's giving the guy a taste of everything. Making him learn.
