I think that part is about people who make themselves be sick after eating for attention or something, maybe they think its cool or whatever.

This sounds to me like a reference to emo's, espesially with the part about hair blinding their eyes.
This would all go with my earlier attention seeking point.
Who are you to judge and criticize them ? - They are suffering .
Besides , the eating dissorder is often a accessory symptom of living under to much pressure .
