This is a really great instrumental but is extremely hard to find and is rare. It has techno influences and is a really trippy song it's not like Triad II though. It is just a really kick ass instrumental.

Oh yes, this song just might be a song from their upcoming album, the intro to this song is a lot like Reflection, with the bouncy sounding drums.

You can find this song on any file sharing network. I think its a song Maynard did with another group back in about '97, a rhythm experimentation group or something. Maynard does some supremely awesome Eastern vocals on this one.

Dustpan- Tool has many fans. It's a little shocking I know considering they are a pretty famous band and all, but you'll get used to it.

This is an interesting song. I got a 2 year subscription to a MP3 download site and I find a lot of rare songs on there. I didn't realize this one was hard to find, but if you want info on the site I have it's called MP3 Rocket Pro.
Ciao.

Although there is no real way to prove that this is Tool, it certainly sounds like it. The drumming has Danny's precision, as well as his tribal sound. The guitar has Adam Jones written all over it, and the vocals are almost undeniably Maynard.

I have this song(very cool). I always wondered if it was a tool song because no one had heard of it, and since its all instrumental it can be hard to tell, is it from any rare album or something like that?

"Skeptical" isn't by Tool. The song is actually called "Skeptic" and it's by Chevelle. I'm still wondering if "Choked" is really by Tool or not. Sounds like it, but sitting on leather seats sounds like a fart alot of the times, too.

It's 7 on the playlist on the puscifer website, listed under the artist "Tim Alexander". Perhaps it was a jam session with him?

aha! http://tinyurl.com/ybbetu

"12. Choked - Tim Alexander & Mike Bordin"

And on wikipedia it says that Maynard contributed to the vocals on this song.

tool in itself explains alot of un-answered questions about life and why we are here.futhermore if you listen to the word and acctually understand the meanings you will find what i said to be true.for those of you that have no idea what im talking about will never know because you are not on the same level

this is actually tim alexander solo stuff. but maynard did the background vocals, as fractologos said before. and that is really a good ear to know that the vocal style is of an eastern origin. :)

It says this isn't maynards song... it says Maynard is backing the vocals, and it's a Tim Alexander & Mike Bordin song

This may be like WAY out of date but someone earlier said "skeptical" was thought to be by tool...? I thought so for a while I guess... it's by chevelle.
I realize now that someone else said that but i'll say it anyway to tank up on self-props.
Goods! My man! I think the way you think about tool is admirable, but to be candid (right word, i hope) MJK said that tool has no aim to bring you to nirvana (i know, but poetic license, thank you) or anything like that. HOWEVER, Robert Frost said that "The Road Not Taken" was about a dumb friend of his and nothing more, only to hint later that he may have been twisting the truth. I certainly rank MJK up there with frost, maybe he's engaging in skullf*ckery?
I love this song, one of the Big Five instrumentals by tool (in my mind) Merkaba (oh my lord greatest ever) dispisition, choked, triad and lost keys (blame hoffman) Wonderful to turn off to, i find tool music helps me think things over. Though sometimes my thoughts get hella pesemistic. Anyone who smokes pot while listening to tool requires sodomy.
