Your hair reminds me of a time when we once were
Your fingernails that marked my back now rot in earth
The sheets we slept in blew away and now the storm is over
The taste of you inside my mouth remains but still I'm hearing

There's no love, everybody's crying
There's no truth, everyone's misguiding

And now the end is here!
There's no more pills to swallow!
The bitter taste I feel won't lead me to tomorrow!

Your scent reminds me of a place I used to go
The kisses placed upon my neck show signs ofâ?¦ no return!
The bed we fucked in smells the same but now the stench is fading
The taste of you inside my mouth remains but still I'm hearing

There's no love, everybody's crying
There's no truth, everyone's misguiding

And now the end is here!
There's no more pills to swallow!
The bitter taste I feel won't lead me to tomorrow!

Cries for anger! Lies for power!
Fighting for nothing is what you were born for
Cries for anger! Lies for power!
Fighting for nothing is what you were born for

Yeah!

Cries for anger! Lies for power!
Fighting for nothing is what you were born for
Cries for anger! Lies for power!
Fighting for nothing is what you were born for

General Comment:rot in earth refers to the person being "dead to him" not necessarily dead, dead. he tried but now he cant do anymore. no more pills to swallow more likely refer to lies, than actual pills....she lied to him and he is lying to himself...her lies ended the relationship and his lies are what he tells himself after it ended, but they dont help him

General Comment:The End of this song is the best. The meaning of this song is probably suicide...I think. idk.. "there's no more pills to swallow" that basically means death.

General Comment:i like this song, but for some reason it makes me kinda sad when it gets to the part where it says "And now the end is here!
Theres no more pills to swallow!
The bitter taste I feel wont lead me to tomorrow!"

General Comment:i always wanted to connect it to war but its totally about how an ended relationship was caused from pointless fights and reminds him of how good it could have been

i really love how its soft like if i made a music video id have it be in a room with lots of sunlight and dust and be in like a brownish yellow color having a guy look at the stuff like sheets and bed and his back and pictures but then when the song gets heavy he would like pass out or something and remember all the fights then when he woke up he would see a picture of her and just get depressed

General Comment:As someone said in 10 Years Today, the album 'The Poison' is a story about a relationship gone bad with his girlfriend. His Girlfriend is dead and because it saddened him so much he's overdosed on drugs to kill himself.

"And now the end is here!
There’s no more pills to swallow!
The bitter taste I feel won’t lead me to tomorrow!"

Also you should know that Singers always make up shit about their song live.

General Comment:This song is about a girl that died after the two of them had sex that night. She dies, and he can't forget how it felt to be with her, and so he kills himself. And if you listen to the song, it gets hard and soft, and hard and soft, then it gives one final hardcore scream of pain, then it fades away, which is him feeling his life falling away.

General Comment:If you listen to the album in order, you can see the story being told.
Her Voice resides: He seems like he's preparing to end a relationship, but can't seem to go through it because he loves her.
Tears don't fall: He finds out about her being unfaithful and describes the pain he feels.
4 word: Confronting his friend, who his girlfriend was unfaithful with.
Suffocating under word of Sorrow: Describes being with her, even though he knows whats happens, and how he wants her to admit it.
Hit the Floor: This describes him actually confronting her about it and attacking her, and leads into the next two songs
All these things I hate: Describes how he doesn't like this situation, but she still constantly denies it
Room 409: Describes him finding her at his apartment and him catching her cheating
    The Poison: Him killing her
10 Years today: A flashback describing the friend who had cheated with his girlfriend killing himself.
Cries in Vein: Describes his pain after remembering this, and how he looks to god for help, but doesn't receive any.
Spit you Out: Describes him trying to fight his guilt about what happened and trying to rise above it
The End: Describes him reflecting back on what happened as he commits suicide himself.

It's an amazing album, and I love it when artists put more into it then just a few hits and a bunch of filler songs with no meaning.
