Cuando despiertes un día
y sientas que no puedes más,
que en el nombre del de arriba
tu vida van a manejar.

Si sientes que el miedo se pega a tu piel
por ser comunero y justicia querer,
si te rindes hermano, por ti nunca pensarás.

Cuando vayan a pedirte
los diezmos a fin de mes,
y la Santa Inquisición
te "invite" a confesar.

Por eso amigo tú alza la voz,
di que nunca pediste opinión
y si es verdad que existe un Dios
que trabaje de sol a sol

Ponte en pie
alza el puño y ven
a la fiesta pagana
en la hoguera hay de beber.

De la misma condición
no es el pueblo ni un señor,
ellos tienen el clero
y nosotros nuestro sudor.

Si no hay pan para los tuyos
y ves muy gordo al abad,
si su virgen viste de oro,
desnúdala.

Cómo van a silenciar
al jilguero o al canario
si no hay cárcel ni tumba
para el canto libertario.

Ponte en pie
alza el puño y ven
a la fiesta pagana
en la hoguera hay de beber.

De la misma condición
no es el pueblo ni un señor,
ellos tienen el clero
y nosotros nuestro sudor.

Ponte en pie
alza el puño y ven
a la fiesta pagana
en la hoguera hay de beber.

De la misma condición
no es el pueblo ni un señor,
ellos tienen el clero
y nosotros nuestro sudor.

Ponte en pie
alza el puño y ven
a la fiesta pagana
en la hoguera hay de beber.

De la misma condición
no es el pueblo ni un señor,
ellos tienen el clero
y nosotros nuestro sudor.

¡¡¡Cabrones!!!

General Comment:Well "pagana" can have two meanings based on what I know about romance languages. In Spanish, "pagana" has the same meaning as the English "pagan", but the word comes from the same Latin word meaning "rustic." This "rustic" meaning is still slightly there in Spanish.

General Comment:Agh. This song has absolutely nothing to do with paganism. That is NOT the correct translation of pagana in this context. It's more about the administrative aspects of the church and the proletariat. Sort of like a town gathering affirming that they're their own community, no matter who is administrating over them. It's got more of a politically dissenting attitude if anything.

Look at Elimination's translation (it's pretty much accurate), especially in these stanzas:

How are they going to silence
    the goldfinch or the canary
if there's no jail or grave
    for the libertarian chant.

    Stand up
    raise your fist and come
    to the pagan party,
there are drinks by the bonfire.

^ then just substitute something for "pagan" that has a meaning more of "politically rebellious".

General Comment:when you say "they are against the catholic church and all the bad thing they HAVE done" how can you be against something that isn't true anymore....the inquisition was a long time ago...so they are practically against nothing......im not trying to say that Fiesta pagana is meaningless song its just that i think jay worded it wrong or somethng..i dunno ...thing of that sort you know??

General Comment:to be antichristian doesnt mean they are satanic. they are not satanic they are against the catholic curch and all the bad things they have done, and how they use their faith to manipulate people. thats what i like about this band and i also like the combination of celtic music and heavy metal.

General Comment:Yeah, "cabrones," the word I translated as "motherfuckers," is almost a Mägo de Oz signature. =P
They scream it on several songs, and live, too.

General Comment:Are you implying that non-christianism is satanism?
They're pagans, they're against the dogmatic propaganda the church is selling you. If you wanna believe in God, that's fine as long as you don't shove it down our throats, but if you believe the church, you're being ignorant.

Pero es muy buena rola. =)

    General Comment:Lol...
    This song makes me doubt...
    Are they really against God?
Or they are just against Church?
I'm really confused about their thoughts.
I don't really think they are satanic...
Who can say what they are...?

Aunque la canción me gusta en sí xD
