We're on two wheels baby
We're on two wheels baby

We will come to your town
Burn your house down
Turn the sky brown
All because, all because, all because

We're on two wheels baby
We're on two wheels baby

Change the eye color of every lady
We're fast, we're fast
We're fast we're having a blast
All because

We're on two wheels baby
We're on two wheels baby

Change the color of your make up
All the sleepyheads won't wake up
All because, all because, all because
Because, because, because, because
Because, because, because

No gears, no brakes, all real, no fakes
No gears, no brakes, we'll break your face
No gears, no brakes, all real, no fakes
No gears, no brakes, we'll break your face

Have fun and be safe with it
Just kidding, FUCK SHIT UP!
We ride bikes, cars are for idiots
All because, all because

We're on two wheels baby
We're on two wheels baby
We're on two wheels baby
We're on two wheels baby

Brrrrrrap. One of the best songs on the album. I'm sure that it says "Have fun and be safe with it // Just kidding, fuck shit up"

I'm pretty sure it should be "Have fun and be safe with it/Just kidding, Fuck shit up!"

I agree with the two comments above me...it does say "just kidding, FUCK SHIT UP"....either that or "just kidding, BUST IT UP"....either way its not those lyrics...and also I think that it says "all the sleepyheads will wake up" ....OH and the "random chant thing" is actually "no gears, no brakes, no reals, no fakes" etc.

Anyways, this song just basically kicks ass and its one of my favorite songs ever....so there.

I'm not totally sure...but I think it could be about how teenagers are usually portrayed as being destructive and untrustworthy...not really sure thoug.

I think jemina summed it up pretty well wehn she was introducing this song live; this song is about riding your bike and, like, killing people. I thsink its meant to be fun, not deep or anything!

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
