Show me, show me, show me a starry-eyed kid
I, I, I will break his jaw
I won't, I won't, I won't let him get his hopes up
No, oh, oh, oh
And I will save him from himself
Here's a picture with a note
"No, don't turn out like me"
It's only for your own good
No, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

And haven't you heard
The word on the street is
"I lost it, called it quits"
Get it into the sun,
Out from behind the gossip
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

This story's getting old
A homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
Keep, k-keep talking
Keep this alive
This story's getting old
A homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind now-ow-ow - ow

Hey, hey
Hey, hey
Hey, hey

Even when there's
Nothing worth living for
You're still, you're still, still worth lying for
N-no one has to know-ow-ow
And haven't you heard
The word on the street is
"I lost it, called it quits"
Get it into the sun
Out from behind the gossip
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

This story's getting old
A homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
Keep, keep talking
Keep this alive
This story's getting old (this story's getting old)
A homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind now,

This story's getting old
A homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
Keep, keep talking
Keep this alive
This story's getting old (this story's getting old)
A homewrecker with a heart of gold
Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind now
Now, now, now

Stop!

General Comment:Definiately a song to hit something along with. Just a song that gets you completely fired up, roaring and ready to go. I love this song so much, definiately the best Fall Out boy song, in my opinion. I brought From Under The Cork Tree, and then I watched 'Come Off Hiatus, Maybe. A TRIBUTE TO FALL OUT BOY' and I heard 'Music Or The Misery'. Someone tole me it was on the limited tour edition of From Under The Cork Tree, and I was like 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

General Comment:This song just grew on me sooo much. I absolutely adore it. I loved it from the moment I heard it and that adoration just grew ^^. I think it's about young kids trying to get into the music business or maybe a reflection of Pete in the past and an "innocent" and "naiive" image he doesn't like. It's so fast and angry, pretty violent imagery too, but it really makes an impact. Immensely witty and catchy. One of my top favs from the band I love. ^^

General Comment:I was reading the first page of comments. Wtf cuteiwwaf? Teeniboppers? I take offense to that, in no way, shape or form am I a teenibopper. Anyways... I love this song! I've been a FOB fan for AGES (yes peoples, before they got "popular") and I was really pissed when I bought Under The Cork Tree and then realised that there was another edition! With this on it! Stiches and Walkers is AWESOME!

General Comment:Yes, and it would fit in wouldn't it?
Their stereotypes if you like, that Pete is the "fame whore" and Patrick is the little shy one.
Sounds like they got fucking well pissed off at all that, all the GOSSIP -
"Get into the sun, out from behind the gossip."
and wrote an amazing song about it.
You understand what I'm sayin' here?!
    ...
Sorry, the song made me aggressive LOL!!

    General Comment:Pretty sure it's:
"Even when there's n-n-n-n-nothing worth living for,
YOU'RE still, YOU'RE still still worth lying for"

General Comment:Why wasn't this good enough to be on From Under the Cork Tree? I could've replaced at least five songs with it.
