    I decided it was basically full of napalm."

    General Comment:I think for the most part the song's simply about Iggy's partying behavior. The name was taken from a Time article about the Vietnam War, and you can see references to the war in the lyrics, like "heart full of napalm", "runaway son of the nuclear a-bomb", "Soul radiation in the dead of night", and "Love in the middle of a firefight"

    General Comment:This song is amazing. I first heard it when I watched The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, during a great scene, and it fit perfectly.

    I love his choice of words in his song, about technology and a-bombs. It's so good.

    General Comment:this is a travesty Iggy Pop is a niche artist, despite the fact that he and the stooges realeased the first punk album way back in 1969, oh well at least we knows'z he beat the sex pistols by a good few things
