[ you know you look like an angel when you're sleeping, right?
come on, wake up girl.
i know you're not going to spend your whole birthday in the shower...
i'm gonna go pack up the car
looks like it's gonna rain
c'mon, don't worry about it ]

it's only sprinkling, i tell her
nothing is wrong
and we playing the license plate game
and i'm lovin what she keep doin to my inner thigh
rockin' the diamond earrings i gave her
she's smilin', looking angelic
all her friends secretly hate her beauty
she know she got it
got me where she want me,
all erotic
next to her hand, the k is burning a whole in my pocket
i pull it over
get her a soda
i'm half-gone
hit the bathroom
stick the key in the jar to turn it back on
look in the mirror,
throw some water on my face
i'm snotty
thinking of things i'm 'bout to do to my girl's body
the rain is picking up now
my eyes are kind of lazy
the sky is hazy
she's like 'you look pale'
i say she was crazy
push the pedal to the floormat
hydroplane
corrected it fast
then slowed down past a car crash
she put her head on my shoulder
says she was gettin a little sleepy
don't worry baby, we're minutes from heaven

i picked my face up with glass in it
can't remember the last minute
glovebox: my girl's face smashed in it
i called her name out but she ain't respond
pulled her shoulder back, touched her arm
her entire fucking face is gone
i see her breathing,
i'm pleading with jesus
leave her lifeless
don't leave her like this
reach for the birthday balloon of nitrous
i'm trying to dial for help with hands i can't feel
stuck in the driver's seat my broken ribs gripping the steering wheel
she squeezed my hand and let go
i should have been sittin shotty
and the rain wouldn't still be pouring all over that angel's body
i'm trying to crawl back in the k-hole to get out of the car
but the k won't climb out of my nose and back in the jar
this isn't her i tell myself
at least she's happy
wherever she is her soul is out looking at me
i pump my fist to bleed out
to catch her and let the worms play
and tell her i'm sorry i gave her death for her birthday

General Comment:This song is mostly fictional:

Cage: I had a long time girlfriend of like seven years just bounce on me like two weeks after taking her to Costa Rica for like two weeks. So you come back from paradise, just trying to settle back into things, and this girl just bounces and breaks up with me the day before her birthday. So the "Subtle Art of the Breakup" on Hell's Winter is about her.

General Comment:yeah, K is ketamine. K-hole is the term for what happens at the very peak of a K high. It varies massively from person to person but usually it's sort of like your soul drifts out of your body and the world around it loses all meaning, and time and spacial awareness cease to exist. Some people lose the ability to move and say its like dying, for me its more like a fucked up out of body experience, where you're watching yourself but you can't understand what it is you're watching.

General Comment:I have a question, what is a K? He mentions it 3 times and at one time calls it a k-hole... that's the only thing I can't understand...

General Comment:cage and atmosphere, totaly different, i just downloaded both songs to day (hair and the breakup) and atmosphere has a way better rapping ability but hes conveying a completly different point, atmosphere doesnt have such guilt or loss in his song, everyone died no one to blame

Cage on the other hand leave his drugged up ass to blame for taking the best thing from his life but first she rubs in the awareness of what has happened but screaming

atmosphere raps, cage tells a horror story.

General Comment:the lyrics in the bridge are
'cage snap out of it, its just a girl, shes just the world, its just my life.

The lyrics are in the song 'sisidle falure'
Where he is also talking about loosing his girlfriend.

General Comment:ok shut the hell up everyone who the fuck cares if they are artists or not or if they rap differently its their own style, thats why its Cage and Atmosphere, not Cagemosphere.. cuz they are different... now comparing Hair and this song and saying they are the same is pretty dumb because they are about completely dif things.. this songs meaning is in the title and hes describing how hes describing the emotional side of dealing with the breakup..

in hair it could be seen as a couple different ways, as an opposite physical side to the song Reflections, or a story about how alcohol changes things neither of which has anything to do with a breakup as he just met a girl at a bar.

Atmosphere tends to have a more upbeat and intellectual way of rapping while cage has a more down depressing and poignant rapping style... pick your poison but dont argue who's better its a matter of taste preference.. i mean they are different rappers and different people different minds get the fuck over it already holy cow

General Comment:Atmosphere has had 2 members since Spawn left after the Overcast release. Slug is the only rapper in the group. I also don't see why you couldn't compare somewhat similar artists because one of the two considers the producer to be in the group. And I'm sorry for listening to more than one type of music.
