The song is saying that we are all the same.
We are each Unique just like everyone else.
and so people shouldn't call another for being 'ugly' or for their skin colour or how they dress.
The part I don't get about is
"Personality refelcts name" (the lyrics above are wrong btw, you should change them)
I don't get the 'name' I think it means like [INSERT NAME HERE] maybe.
theyre saying 'people are all the same'. meaning we all get a bit insecure sometimes. jeeeez.
that's what i used to think is the most amazing thing about the humankind.
nowadays, i just hate everyone.
but i think what "if i'm ugly then so are you" really means is... if someone calls you ugly, it shows that they are ugly inside (if not on the outside as well LOL) themselves.
it's simple, but most people are. and the target group is the people who listen to the radio that plays this shxt 24/7 - not a completely bad try at opening people's minds.

You can't say people are all the same, and then say we get judged by what we do; we only do things because of who we are. People are different, and that's why people do different things. If we were all the same, we'd all be clones and there wouldn't be a need for music or any other form of art because we'd all think the same way.
The other part that annoys me is where they sing:
"And if I'm ugly then
So are you"
They aren't a completely hideous bunch. It's like a rich snob saying to a peasant, "if i'm poor, then so are you". Actually, that's quite offensive. :l
Some girls were in tears when they aplyed this. My God.
