Two months in the cover creases (ridge in the covers...hmmm...I'm a lil confused, but i think its from past lovers or fucks which would come from the song so sick -- thru my eyes anyways)
Fully alive (but shes been thru soo much)
More than most (she feels like she knos more than others)
Ready to smile and love life (and shes with god now -- god has been helping her -- IN HER OTHER SONGS THAT I BELIEVE IM RIGHT IN.)

Now she knows how to believe in futures (she can see something for her in the future, her lifes not such a failure to her anymore she has something to look forward to heaven. and not only that but she also has words to use and become famous. )
All my complaints shrink to nothing (no one is hearing them listening to her )
I'm ashamed of all my somethings (maybe she wasnt good at much else -- ashamed of things she has loved "a passion for sex ... lovers ... her sins"
She's glad for one day of comfort (she feels like shes alone so when she gets comfort it feels like shes on top of the world. possibly could be bcuz of god too. he gave her something a life to look forward too, he gave her comfort)
Only because she has suffered (and she knows so much because of her suffering, and god has come into her life to help her on her feet. )

is the new her -- believing in god from other songs.
like shes new and improved "shiny" and better shes fully alive more than anyone else...so shes feeling "brilliant."
p.s. i feel her music, more than i have ever felt anyone elses music.

depression takes happy thing away from you. it's so mental. while the physical is something different.
but anyway i adore this song it's still very beautiful that she can wake up everyday and be happy about it even though she have to lie in her bed in pain in for two months. so beautiful.

This song actually means...
Layla, was a girl suffering from depression and set her self on fire and said, "Lord, if you are there take this pain away." Then she fell to the ground. She lost her kids, but she is now a faithful Christian and Flyleaf heard her story and wrote this song about her....
