    General Comment:Its about a longer term relationship losing the chemistry. Its a biological fact that the chemistry between couples neutralises after 24 mths. Then you have to fight to get it back. Or you can give up. The loyal don't give up. Its hard when someone new and amasing comes along and you feel the chemistry you used to feel.

    Yet there's still this appeal that we've kept through our lives.

    Something so good can't function no more.

    Bullshit. You have to fight for it. Loyalty. Real love.

    Don't give in to the new love, don't let it tear you apart. It won't last either!

    General Comment:You dont need to have written the song for it to mean something in context thought. Jose may have chosen to cover this song for a particular reason which would not be discussed on the joy division page. Plus where does it say that only lyrical content can be discussed? in some songs the instruments add to the particular feel and meaning of the song.

    General Comment:yeah i know that but surely if this is a website for commenting on the lyrical content rather than the sound of the song then shouldn't it be only in the joy division area so that a proper discussion in the context of the band that wrote it can take place...maybe i'm being really anal...i am aren't I...oh well..........
