Save the robots
Save yourselves
Keep your head to the future boy
For everything it's worth

I didn't mean to collide with you
We fell so far from earth

No guru
No system
No mantra

Save the robots
Save your friends
Try a little selfless
Try whatever works

No guru
No system
No mantra
No mantra

So don't you try me
You'll never find me
I was here before
You're never found me then

No guru
No system
No mantra
No mantra
No mantra
No mantra

Save the robots
Save the robots
Save yourselves
Save yourselves
Save yourselves

General Comment:This song is about the loss of our souls, the loss of our spiritual sense. there is a difference between religon and spirituality, right now, we have lost the latter in favor for the former. In losing our spirituality, religon is nothing more than a system of "do this or else," and we have lost our connection to each other, and all living things.

Without a soul, without this spiritual connection, a future doesn't really matter much anymore. All we have to look forward to is results of this souless mass...religous wars, social outcasting, racial tensions, and loss of natural resourses. We are the robots...we need to save ourselves, we need to fight for a future worth having no matter the cost.

That is what this song is all about.

General Comment:I love this song! It brings out so many emotions in me. I always thought this song was about saving technology but I could be wrong. I don't know. I love this song no matter what it's about.

General Comment:This is probably the most interesting song on the distort yourself album, more obscure - perhaps leaning towards the days of science of things - but definately fresh and inspiring

General Comment:I have loved this song since I first heard it. There are people who go through the motions of life without incorporating their hearts and souls into each day and each activity. The sociological slang for such people is "robots." That it was this song means to me, save those that walk through with no heart and no soul. Show them that there is a reason to be alive. It was said on the t.v. show "Buffy: The Vampire Slayer" the hardest thing to do in life is live. That helps me sum up this song.
