    General Comment:when i was 14 i fell in love with this boy and i never thought that a day would pass by with out him being by my side adn then like two weeks later we got back together and then i had to break up with him because he was cheating on me with some one that i thought was a true friend and come to find out she was not a true friend and then on june 28 he asked me back put and i told him yes so now we are back together lets just hope and pray that the same bs will not happen again...

    General Comment:Yeah, yeah, I commented on this song already too, but I still got more to say!

    This song can also be about a friendship. Like my best friend was being a witch with a capital b to me and I still wanted to be friends with her. Wanted to and still do. But I know that I'm only going to be hurt if I stay friends with her. And god yeah it kills me, and I still wonder, should I have done that, but she was being so mean... I know I told her I'm sorry, and I am, I trully am. I shouldn't have done what I did. But I did (A la Lessons Learned- Carrie Underwood) and I don't know. I don't know if I did the right thing. I don't know if I should've stayed friends with her- maybe it was just a phase? And I'll never know. But for me, the rest of my life started with goodbye.

    General Comment:Okay, so all-american girl (like the name)- you're right. but so is everyone else. Song meanings are kind of weird. There are so many different meaning to one song that sometimes people just start arguing about what it means. But you could take this one as either a death or a breakup. I listened to this song during, actually, both of those situations, except it wasn't my boyfriend who died, but... it's a really good song. But Carrie Underwood sang it- how can it not be an awesome song?

    General Comment:this song screems codependancy to me. in any relationship no matter how much you love eachother codependancy can ruin you and the only way to heal is to leave and make the decision to heal yourself and get your life together. she does not want to but knows it is the right thing to do so seh makes the choice even thoguh he will never understand.

    General Comment:I don't think this is about a typical break-up. I think it's like indie girl says. I think that something happened, a catalyst that makes it impossible for them to be together. Since Underwood DOES have many college references - maybe she was accepted to where she wanted - needed? - to go and was so surprised, because she didn't expect it, that she "dropped the phone."
